We had the bento box. Delicious fresh and local delicacies. Locally caught tuna Was top quality. Karage chicken is a must. The only problems were for locals only anz cards are accepted and there is no forewarning. Also no drinks menu provided. However I most definitely recommend it.

An upmarket business class hotel in Solomon Islands
I stayed for one month in a 3 bedroom apartment. All of the staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist. We did have maintenance issues but these were quickly resolved. In summary the apartments we’re comfortable and made even better by the friendly attitude of the staff

Spent a week here for quarantine, service was lovely. During your quarantine expect a delay during lunch and dinner rush hour due to the high volume in the room service orders. To avoid this, order ahead of time. Room was very clean. I had a great view from the top floor in room 803.

The Conflict Bay Lodge is made of local building materials, suitable for the holiday goers who love to enjoy life in the beautiful Marau Sound. Currently, there a two shared rooms for six guests. With the completion of a family unit by the end of June 2014,dining area, indoor shower, and mini bar- the lodge is happy to say, it's our happiness to receive you and give all we can to make you happy while you are with us in Marau Sound. It is a community-owned enterprise, aiming at making a difference in the lives of the local communities, their natural environment, and bringing the maximum financial benefits into the rural economy. It provides three main meals: morning tea, fresh fruits, vegetables, and freshly catch seafoods on your table for meals.
Authentic experience in a tropical paradise. White sandy beaches. Dugongs playing off the deck. Great hosts. Well catered by Pauline and Elijah knows the best fishing and snorkelling spot. Coral reefs to rival any in the world. Who needs hot showers in this climate.

Located right beside the Solomon Sea with amazing views and a cool sea breeze, the hotel offers 173 spacious, comfortable and fully air-conditioned rooms. It is conveniently located approximately 5kms from Honiara Henderson international airport and 2.4kms to the Honiara CBD (Point Cruise). Suites boast separate lounge areas and private balconies. Rooms include satellite TV with 24 hours in-house movie channels, IDD telephone access, tea/coffee and a mini bar fridge. Wi-Fi hotspots are available throughout the hotel.
By hotel standards internationally, this place is wildly over priced. Old rooms, not overly clean. Only one restaurant operating during my stay, meal choices were limited and arrived at table cold. Curious how far away the kitchen is from the dining room. Security/porter walked me to my room and seemed to begrudge having to do so. Safety issues were a concern when I saw how many security staff were present. Room door didnt lock properly, it looked like it had been forcefully opened too many times. Solid metal bars on window. Still not thrilled with the amount of drunken people who tried to get into my room throughout the night, big party scene for locals, and a bit of a rough environment to be honest. Reception staff weren't particularly helpful or friendly. They even seemed to be put out when I asked any questions. I would not recommend this hotel if you're looking for an actual hotel (by international standards). But this is Honiara, you're going to pay way too much no matter where you stay. I would suggest avoiding Honiara all together unless you have to stop over on the way to somewhere else. Hopefully this hotel has scheduled some massive renovations and that's why they charge so much. End on a positive note: Caesar the hotel airport shuttle driver was awesome. Friendly and informative, whatever you're paying him is not enough.
