Reviews on Pub food in Gros Islet, Gros Islet Quarter, Caribbean. Gros Islet, on the northern tip of St. Lucia, is a blossoming destination, at once remote and exciting. The best way to explore the shoreline may be Island Riders, where riding veterans and beginners alike can trot along on horseback and chat with the locals. The Jump Up street party, perhaps the most recognized of the town's attractions, is also a must for a taste of Gros Islet's unique blend of food and music.

We were staying at the Landings a couple days and just loved this bar. Its right on the beach, great cocktails using fresh local juices, you can get food from the adjacent restaurant with reasonable prices. Yummy food too. Excellent place to watch the sunset over sailboats, the sea, and Pigeon Island. Met lots of fun people at the bar too. Go for a quick swim on the beach between drinks, they have a shower and towels. A short walk from Sandals if you want a change of scene. The bartender Aaron was super nice, say hi from the San Diegans.Try the Sweet Euphoria cocktail, each bartender has their own recipe.

Welcome to JamRock Caribbean's first Reggae Sports Cafe and Grill featuring daily West Indian Buffet with Live Sports and Soft Rock Reggae Music on 10 flat Screen TV's. Enjoy Jerk, Curry and Local Caribbean Delights while still enjoying International Favo
Visited Jamrock Cafe after some recommendations from local people. This was one of a small number of places that sells Antillia Brewing beers which are much better than Piton. The Jerk Chicken we had was very good and the service was just right. The big disappointment was that unlike everywhere else we went in St Lucia this establishment chooses to add tax and service charges to the prices displayed on the menu, without making it clear that they would do so or indicating how much these charges would amount to (they were also, incorrectly, added to the beer) - this added over 25% to the bill. This was resolved after we refused to pay the charges but this left a bad taste which prevented us being repeat customers the following day.

Had a horrible server named Sherman. The special was 2 tacos. Three of us ordered this. They tried giving us 2 plates each of the special -12 tacos instead of 6. We clarified it twice and it still came wrong. We also ordered 2 chicken kabobs that didn't come on kabobs and were extremely fatty and grisly it was disgusting. So disappointed.

We struggled to find this to begin with off the main street of Rodney Bay...wind your way through a car park and through some gates, up the slope and into the Coco Palm hotel...then you find it. I ordered a Spaghetti Bolognese in need of some comfort food, not expecting anything special I was pleasantly surprised with a superb rich Bolognese sauce, really enjoyed it. Staff were nice and friendly, prices reasonable too.

We came in late. After food hours and the kitchen was closed. Times like these is when restaurants separate themselves from all others. They could have sent us somewhere else, Gros Islet is full of food eateries. But no, the cook, even after cleaning the kitchen, went back in to make us food. We have fried pork chops and chicken. And let me tell you, the wait was surprisingly short. The food, OMG, FINGERLICKING DELISH!!! I suck the bones until no flesh was left. We had salad and fries. My plate and the plate of my companion was licked clean. Had i not been brought up better, I would have licked the plate. Plus, service with a smile and no attitude even though they had to clean the kitchen again. I will return and visit them this Christmas.

Itâs basically a shack with decking. But I must say the food is tasty and the beers cold . Staff friendly. Sitting there having a piton watching the sunset over the bay is lovely. Only thing I could comment on is the cushions are really uncomfortable

We had strip steak and garlic chicken with rosemary. Both came with salad and fries and were very good. The beers were good value in comparison to other restaurants too. Service was good. The table however, was quite dirty and we ended up with marked clothing from this. It was a metal mesh table that had sauce on it from a previous customer. Not easy to see in the evening due to the lighting but found as it was sticky!
