Fine Dining Steak House with beautiful Outdoor setting, excellent service and meals to die for !
The service was glacially slow. The shrimp was ok. The salmon wasnât salmon. The NY STRIP was fatty and way undercooked. Despite this we were having fun as a family in this casual low key atmosphere especially being our last night of vacation. Very ready to let all other shortcomings go by but....when we asked for the bill I called our cab. Our 6:45 reservation had already stretched to after 9pm. Our cab showed up 5 minutes later but the bill didnât come for almost 20 min. After being shocked that our only disappointing meal, in the least fancy place we visited on this beautiful island, wound up being our most expensive, I dutifully handed over my VISA card and was very surprised when the waitress asked for my PIN. I told her it was credit and 10min later she came back to tell me our card was âdeniedâ. We are fortunate that our bank always calls on anything suspicious. They had called yesterday and we approved several St Lucia charges and they made note that we would be there this evening. She tried again. Came back to tell me Denied. I gave her an Amex Platinum. Didnât âgo throughâ but wasnât Denied. I called our bank from the first Visa. They said nothing had been attempted on the card. I gave the phone to the cashier and she admitted this was âon their endâ. Now had been over a half hour since we asked for the bill. Our local cab driver had to leave. The cashier spoke to the owner and the only response we got was that we needed to go get cash. No offer of any consideration for the more than one hour delay that their issue was going to cause us. I went and got cash and paid the bill, waited for my cab to finish its other appointment and left at about 10 pm. By the way, this is the only restaurant, hotel, or other service establishment that charged a 15% service charge (before tip) All others charge 10%. First time I have ever felt compelled to make a negative statement on TripAdvisor.
Cafe Fresh provides an excellent range of healthy foods and drink at affordable prices in Rodney Bay St. Lucia
I have tried to visit this restaurant 4-5 times and it is ALWAYS closed. The hours on their sign are just completely false and they see absolutely no problem with having hours that they aren't open listed under times when they are open. In fact, I'm not sure they've ever been open.Seriously, go somewhere more reliable if you're in Rodney Bay and don't waste your time trying to figure out if these people will be open or not.

Jacques Waterfront Dining is one of St. Luciaâs most popular restaurants, with a long-standing reputation for consistency in both the quality of the food and the service with which it is delivered. We recently re-opened in a new and exciting waterfront lo
We ate here during our St Lucia holiday (early in the trip) but itâs been a week land I canât for the life of me remember the meal. I know we enjoyed it and found it worthwhile but I guess I had too much vacation. I have pictures of our evening and I know we thought about returning but clearly moved on to other things. It was fresh and delicious but perhaps forgettable? Not over the top but no disappointments or regrets.

The venue has been re decorated ad has a new name ! The menu is VERY extensive. I had chicken wings for a starter and they were really good. Then Pina Colada chicken curry - was really good and off the bone. Only comment was i had to have plain rice, which was good bu a bit boring as other option was garlic and did not want garlic rice. My friend had the tuna steak with mango and ginger sauce which the chef made especially without butter for her, She said it was amazing. The staff were all really good. Service was excellent - way above other restaurants we have eaten in locally this week.Thank you for taking the time to leave us some valuable feedback. I am glad that your friend and you enjoyed the various dishes you ordered. We we certainly look into the rice options so that there can be more variety. We hope that you visit us again.

Always one of our favourites and this time we were not disappointed. Wonderful setting, although decor looking a little dated, great size tables, menus are great and we have never had a bad meal. Recommend the veal, and the baked Camembert. Great cheese selection as well, and a very good wine selection.staff , as always, very good and attentive.

Large menu and good food. Good value. Good service. They do add in service fee/tip.Been here many times before and came back after two years and still as good as I remembered.I will go back.Thank you for your great review! Weâre very glad to have had you and to welcome you back in the future. Just a note about the service charge, we are one of the few restaurants in the area that does not add anything to your bill - so itâs completely discretionary for the customer . See you next time!
