We been in this restaurant in anverage 2 times per month since 2010.Food Quality, Service and Presentation has not changed.Saturday 03.01.15 we had for lunch : Small calamari salad, minestrone soup, agnolotti salmone and pappardelle calabrese. Just Excellent.

We have just returned from a lovely evening spent outside watching a World Cup football match. We both had the special burger, his was the big version and mine the small. Burger was delicious, patty was lovely and moist and all of the fillings were yummy. The Novum wine was so nice I bought a bottle to take away with me to impress relatives who will be visiting from New Zealand soon. Well done Team Novum.

We have been there already twice and there will definitely be further visits.Food is excellent, really. Service is nice and friendly. Location is really nice. You can eat outside or Inside.My only little minus point would be : there is no children's menu or dishes.My younger daughter eats as much as a bird, and we did not want to order an adult meal for her. So we asked for an extra plate so that she could pick from us and this was thankfully not an issue. The problem was thus solved.But this might be an idea / suggestion : to add something for children, I would value it.Thanks very much,regarding a childrens fix menü.We tried this, but we have made the experience that the kids always have a different idea about what they want.So we decide to ask what they want - and then we try to fulfill the wishes.

We frequent this place quite often and I have held back on sharing the this place to keep people away! It great for families when the weather is nice because you can sit outside and the kids can play on the playground. You cannot go wrong with the specials or when they are grilling outside. And the wines are quite good and priced right.

Was invited to this nice restaurant tucked away in Mertert Luxemburg.What a surprise! I had walked past this restaurant more than 50 times and always thought it was something local! My first impression was, a very nicely appointed restaurant. Service was very nice!The menu while not overly extensive, everything was excellent!I really enjoyed dining at Joel Schaeffer! The food was outstanding and the complete dining experience was without a doubt, pleasurable!! You wonât be disappointed!!!

My husband and I were sent away one Saturday afternoon the waiter telling us they are having a private party which was taking only one quarter of the terrace, there were about 10 free tables on the other side away from the party and some tables inside but no, we had to leave because there was no space. Not even at the bar. Old owner, new owner doesn't change much this place is only for people that are friends with the owner. Dear Madam,On the specific day where you had the unfortunate experience of finding some tables empty outside on the terrace and inside in the bar area, the staff was preparing the location for a larger group of people which had reserved these tables. In order to assure the preparations and to make sure everything is ready by the time the guests arrive, we sometimes have to block a number of tables. We are sorry that this made the impression that you are not welcomed. We assure you that this is not the case and hope to welcome you back any time soon. On busy days, we recommend to reserve your table for lunch or dinner to make sure you get a table.Hope to welcome you and your husband again soon.

The Hotel Simon's has a restaurant located in 1 floor. Last visit 3 years ago. Same good service and food. We had: Zander with spargel. The fish was fresh and tasty.The restaurant has plenty of day like due to the big glass windows. Nice parking and free.

Great choice for those who want to experience local cuisine, the chef has taken traditional Luxembourg dishes and modernised them. You can try dishes like frog legs, blood sausage, and veal liver that you don't often see around. For less adventurous eaters the steak is delicious. Try the combo with one cut from Luxembourg and the other from Argentina to compare flavors. I think this restaurant is great for tourists who want to experience local food.

I was there with a friend one month ago during my vacation in Luxemburg! The place is absolutly amazing, we felt like being at home! I ordred 'Pasta alla Carbonara' which was so good, my friend ate a Pizza Margherita which was excellent! We took a bottle of red wine too :) The staff is nice and polite! TOP!Thank you very much! :)
