Our exclusive hideaway is peaceful and quiet, situated on a stunning rocky outcrop between two secluded bays. Our intimate Lodge offers 10 bedrooms including a Vila, Studios, Apartments. Grenada's average daily temperature of 31° C (87°F) combined with a sea breeze is very suitable for spending a relaxed Caribbean holiday. No special vaccinations necessary. Our sandy beach is kept clean and bathing is safe for children with good swimming and offshore reef protecting it.
If you want to enjoy a less busy part of Grenada, I recommend Cabier Ocean Lodge. You really do feel as if you are getting away from it all, as soon as you take the turn off for the Lodge. The resort enjoys extensive grounds. At the top of the headland, guests get magnificient views over the Atlantic Coast. It is easy to imagine that if you kept going, you would eventually reach Africa. At the bottom of the property there is a quiet pretty beach which the hotel keeps scupulously clean. The units are large, airy and very comfortable. The folding doors open up and provide a marvellous inside/outside space that takes full advantage of the spectaculart views and ocean breezes. The staff of Alexander, Abigail, Kenisha and Japal (the local taxi driver) do everything in their power to make sure you have a good time. Japal took us on a great tour of the island which included a memorable visit to Belmont Estate. Abigail is a talented chef. The cooking facilities in our unit were more than adequate. However Abigail's dishes were so tempting, that we ate in the hotel restaurant most of the time. Highly recommended for those seeking a change of pace in spectacular surroundings!

Bogles Round House Cottages & Restaurant, situated in the quiet village of Bogles, on Carriacou. All our cottages are self contained, have A/C and are just 60ft from the beach. On site (in the Round House itself) is our restaurant. Come and enjoy great hospitality & food in a truly unique setting.
If your looking for peace and tranquility this is the place to be. Grounds overlooking the sea and a private beach (Rocky probably not safe to swim from). Location is far from Nightlife and busses very infrequent so hire a car if possible. Lovely quaint accommodation above basic beautiful scenery lovely individual outside kitchens. Daily cleaned room. Food generous and tasty. Ice cream a must recommending the cinnamon. Staff very helpful and like many experienced on the island are happy to help with anything needed generosity is an understatement. Thank you for a beautiful experience. David Baxter and Colette

We had a great stay at Kalinaga. It is right on the beautiful Monte Rouge beach. The rooms are well proportioned, clean and comfortable and the staff are super friendly. The only downside is the restaurant which can be slow to get food out of the kitchen. The beach bar has the best sunset.

My husband and I stayed for 19 days. The room itself was ok but definitely needed an upgrade. The curtain rod for the shower curtain was not drilled into the wall properly and kept falling off. The dish soap holder in the shower also was not drilled into the way, so everytime we tried to place a piece of soap or container on it, it would fall. We tried to close the curtain for the kitchen window and the rod fell down breaking a dish which we reported to a housekeep that morning. There was construction in the room next door for 10 out of the 19 days with loud drilling/hammering etc sometimes past 6 pm. The first night it happened the owner saw us and apologized for the noise but she never stated it would go on for so long. After the 10th day, my husband spoke with an employee at the front desk asking for a discount only on the days with all the construction and no one got back to us. On the morning we were to check out we checked again and they stated they needed to talk with the owner. We were never offered to move rooms away from the noise. We were only offered $114 off total when we paid $77 per night for 19 nights. One of the motion lights went out and I ended up falling down the stairs as I missed the last step. I let the owner and a worker know what happened and they didn't even ask if I was ok. They did immediately ask which light it was and fixed it the next day which was good. One of the days the pool was a green color (after raining, so this may have had an effect). There were several times we tried to go to the front desk to ask for something and no one was there. My husband and I stay yearly in Grenada and for quite a period of time. I'm disappointed in this hotel and the Owner and we will not be staying again. Would not recommend.

A hidden gem in the West Indies, nestled above the Caribbean Sea, on Grenada, Mount Edgecombe offers a plantation vacation experience, in peaceful surroundings with stunning sea views. The four Nutmeg Rooms, are located in the original plantation spice storage house with nutmeg and cocoa drying racks below still in operation. Balconies overlook the cocoa plantation and sea. Places to visit and activities close by include: gorgeous, soft-sanded beaches; picturesque harbour city of St. George's, Grand Etang National Park with miles of hiking trails in the lush tropical rainforest; Seven Sisters and Concord waterfalls; natural wildlife sanctuaries, turtle and whale watching (Nov-May); fishing, sailing, snorkelling and scuba; nutmeg factories; rum distilleries; and farmer cooperative chocolate factory. Exclusive use of the estate with very personal service for 19 guests provides the dream location for an intimate wedding, family reunion, and private event of special interest groups.
Stayed three nights which was just right before going to Grand Anse. Stunning position high over the sea and you really are in the middle of the beautiful forest. Very casual operation. Nice big room. Would like a working safe. Need to eat there really as did not find anywhere to go or wanted to. Good breakfast and home cooked suppers and snacks at lunchtime if required. Joseph and the ladies really looked after us. Lovely small infinity pool. We wandered on a trail above the plantation and walked to Victoria where there is nothing to see or do except a small chocolate factory. Went to Belmont Estate but not worth a visit really as little to do for the drive and cost. In the end it was great just to relax there. Really recommend as two centre location.

The hotel overlooks the runway of the airport, behind which you can see the ocean. The view is not too bad and the fact that very few planes land at the airport means that noise is not a problem. The hotel itself is basic but clean. The room came with AC and a bathroom with shower, but no bath. There was an old TV in there, but to be honest I never even tried turning it on. The wifi was decent. There is not much around the hotel, it's about a mile or so walk to the airport and about the same or slightly more to the nearest decent restaurants, shops and bars. The number 1 bus picks up from right outside the hotel and that will take you to the main beach or the capital for no more than 2.50 EC. Also for the price you could probably find something better. I stayed here for a few nights and then found a guest house with similar facilities (slightly bigger room and better view - of Grand Anse beach ) for $60 a night just by word of mouth. Overall I would say it is a nice hotel, but slightly overpriced when compared to what else you can get in Grenada.

Just returned from Carricou, totally agree with awesome place to be. This smaller island is home to a lot of roosters so for a light sleeper, I recommend ear plugs. Also, if you enjoy a medium hike with an incredible view, High North Peak is the place to go. Trail is well marked, plenty of tree identification, we saw tortoise, goats, snails, millipedes, cows, birds. Then cool off with a hike down to Anse La Roche for a swim, and perhaps a BBQ at Tims. Beverly's Roti on Fridays is epic.

I booked these apartments through booking.com I received my confirmation and was ready to go Contacted the apartment on my day of arrival for check in details and they said there was no apartment available I said I had confirmation email They said that the only way I could stay was if I paid three times the amount plus taxes more than the deal offered on booking.com When I said I was an elderly solo traveller in a foreign country with nowhere else to stay and I would report this she laughed and said good luck with that Unbelievable that this deal is still on the website and someone else may have to go through this awful stressful situation I eventually have booked somewhere else at a much higher cost. I will never return here and never use booking.com who have not replied to my messages or requests for help Cannot even complain as they never reply

Small charming inn with fabulous ocean views. Rooms and restaurant located in a colonial style building facing the caribbean sea with two private cottages nestled in the lush garden. Beach bar "La Playa" only 5 minutes walk away, close to dive shop and business area in Hillsborough town.
Thank you Asa and Jonas, you have created a real retreat! We have had a very nice and not only due to the special Corona situation an unforgettable stay at your place! Our comments in short: Accomodation: not cheap, basic but really nice and absolutely sufficient (we liked it very much - but some who expect more standard may not...) Breakfast: fresh, local food, fruit from the garden, black birds stealing the buns when not cautious... Lunch: nice and freshly made, good price - not always available Dinner: GREAT! Changing offers, freshly made, great chef! not cheap but worth it Hosting: very natural, friendly and helpful, coming into Corona stress, Asa and Jonas become something like a family... Site: perfectly located, own very little beach for swimming ok, canoe available, walking into "town", friut in the garden, turtles, hummingbirds and iguanas Highly recommended only for travellers looking for a familiar place with an ecological attitude and willing to learn about and adapt to the Carriacou living conditions.
