Reviewed By PhilipYosA very good choice for a night in Greifswald. The staff are exceptional friendly. Hotel located a 30 minuts walk outside Greifswald or 5 minuts train ride ( not very frequent service). Can be a bit noicy with thin walls between rooms. Clean. Plenty of parking in local area. No points of interest around the hotel - only office blcks and a petrol station.

Reviewed By MatthewA1976Stayed on the top floor over looking the river with lovely views. Within a few minutes walking distance of the town. Room was clean and nice along with the rest of the hotel. The hotel staff were friendly. I'd stay here again.

Good standard with no frills
Reviewed By ERIK Samong the Greifswald sleeping places the one a bit of the City but with lots of calm. It´s a complaex of several Buildings grouped around an Atrium. Excellent breakfast and economic mini bar. Rooms are cleaned daily. TV is old and has tiny Screen, better bring on Notebook. WIFI coverage is reasonable.

Reviewed By SandyDeppLocation: The hotel is not in the city.. its in a close by town with not to limited access with public transport.. No bus service after 6 in or out of this town.. So if you are in Greifswald city then one needs to take a cab.. Please be careful the cab drivers may charge more then what the actual fare.. it happened with me.. The rooms are in the old German high slopped roof building.. so expect the room to also have some less head room.. all the basic amenities were there.. the breakfast was just fine not the best.. be careful with the cereals may be not fresh.. A lot off old polish art kind a things in the hotel.. Stettin is one of the largest cities in Poland and thus the name of this hotel.. So there are many old pictures and antiques of or from that city..

Excellent location, quiet, pleasant enough
Reviewed By LMilichRooms have evidently been upgraded since one of the previous comments, with the WiFi instructions taped to the tv's stand. But yeah, carpets. I guess this is the norm in Germany, but I wish it weren't so. Plenty of outlets, good wifi signal, very nice breakfast bar, beds comfortable. Location is on the pedestrian street in the town center, minutes on foot from the co-located train and bus stops. Ignore the bell pushes on the side door if arriving after 21:00, call the "emergency number" taped to the keybox to the right of the side door, and you'll be provided the code to open the box. A small key opens the door, another small key the parking area (so I was told), the large key for your room. Breakfast starts at 07:00. Still no lift, so be prepared to use the stairs.

Reviewed By Celina BDer Aufenthalt in unserem Slube war einfach nur spitze. Super gemütlich und alles wunderbar sauber. Und dazu noch super gelegen am Hafen und zentrumsnah. Man braucht nur ca. 5 min zu Fuß ins Zentrum. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall und kann ich jedem empfehlen.

Reviewed By inevetjensWhat a great hotel. The service is extremely helpful and friendly and the rooms look very clean and tidy. The breakfast is extensive and very well cared for. We have walked a lot in Greifswald and the beautiful surroundings. The beautiful town has nice shops and a very interesting history. The hotel is close to the center and the station. For example, you can take the train to the stand and on the pier you can drink and eat something delicious. This hotel is highly recommended!

Simple but very good
Reviewed By HSE_ChapI have stayed here now quite a number of times, usually for one or two nights at a time while in the area on business. It is typically efficient and very very well priced. The rooms are a litte on the small side but very well appointed and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful and you are welcomed back with a smile. Value for money is excellent with many hotels in the area charging lots more and offering much less. The wifi is good. The pizza resturant below is also failrly good. There is an honesty fridge which is a little unusual but it has a great selection of local beers. In summer it is excllent with outside seating by the canal where you can just sit and relax. While on the subject of location Wieck is a lovely little spot though a bit bleak in winter but lovely in summer. Parking is a little limited and becomes a bit problmatic in summer but there is a large public car park a few hudred meters away. I leave early so I have never had the breakfast so can't comment on how good that is. All I can say in closing in the Zur Brucke has become my hotel of choice everytime in the area and I've tried at least 7 different places in the area. I'm still trying to figure out why I didn't write a review before...... The Brucke
