I had mixed feelings on my review for this local restaurant. On one hand I can see where it is popular but on the other our visit was less than amazing. We visited on a Sunday right at lunchtime. We only had to wait about 5-10 minutes for a table of 4. The paid parking lot is free on Sundays so that was nice. My hubby was impressed with their beer selection. The onion rings are huge and sprinkled with ole bay seasoning. I would probably recommend staying away from anything breaded and fried on the menu. The onion rings and the fish and chips just have way too much breading. I ordered a bun less burger with a side of kale and chard. It was tasty and I liked the spicy mayo on top. My daughter ordered the jambalaya. The portion size was extremely small. My husband ordered the bean burger which he said was good but did appear to be dry. Lastly, don’t order the homemade root beer. Really not good at all. For 4 of us our bill was $80 which is a little high in my opinion for what we received. Maybe we just ordered the wrong items or hit them on an off day. Check out the cute attached country store. Tons of unique items and gifts. Wine, beer and snacks are sold there too.

Meatballs are all everyone talks about but that's mostly because of the tasty gravy and lingonberry sauce that comes with the mashed potatoes and steamed beans. All for $5.99. Similar nicely presented dished include salmon and veggies or substantial salads. Lunch or dinner dishes never pass $7 that I've seen. Kids size dishes are $2.99 and eat for free on Tuesdays (2 free with 1 adult dish)...so that's a savings. It's not high quality restaurant food but decent cafeteria quality food. You can go whether or not you shop there.

The price that we paid was very similar to something we would pay at any fast-food restaurant. I liked the chicken and found their French fries delicious. The cleanliness was also successful, I accidentally ordered the wrong side and even after I got the plate, I apologized and told them that I accidentally ordered wrong side.
They professionally said no problem sir and quickly gave me an additional side that I requested. Simply my feedback for them is positive.

Stopped in for eggs benedict. There was no problem switching out bacon for ham. Service was good and food arrived in pretty good time.
The restaurant plays up the fact that a chef created the menu to incorporate locally grown nutritious foods. My dish arrived with no garnish or fruit of any kind, though it came with fried potatoes. Was disappointed with the presentation. Also thought the Hollandaise was more mayo than normal, but this is the first time I had benedict here.
Will return, but found this breakfast choice nothing special. Coffee, eggs and tip came to $22. That is a bit much for a couple of eggs on english muffins.

Our Yoga Teacher class went for a group meal here, and all of us; vegetarians, vegans, and omnivores, found something delicious to eat and share. We found the cost to be very reasonable and they accommodated our large group graciously, with excellent service.

Came here for dinner with a friend to catch up, and it was a good choice. All of the sushi was tasty, and I was particularly impressed with a roll that used cucumber instead of rice (for those keeping the carbs down). It also had good dumplings. Service was good, and we didn't need to try to flag down the servers at any point. Worth going back to.

We love Busboys & Poet and have enjoyed many meals at this location. Recently we had dinner with 4 guests and both the service and food were off. We got off to a great start. The server took our order, the drinks were promptly delivered, and the appetizer (coconut tofu bites) was fantastic! Then came the entrees. Those of us with fries noticed 2 things - the temperature of the fries and change in flavor. Cold fries are not appetizing. And the usual flavor of a hint of cinnamon was absent. I waited for the server to have her address the fries issue. The fries here have always been stellar. Was it just an off night? But the server didn’t arrive. And those warm fries never appeared. Then people ran out of beverages and no one came to fill water glasses or ask about a refill. Finally, about 15 minutes later I left the table and saw who I thought was a floor manager near the kitchen window. She was sympathetic and said things would be corrected. But they weren’t. Eventually another staff member brought Water. And the server brought the check. Upon leaving the restaurant I passed another person who may have been the manager that evening. I mentioned the concerns I had to him. He didn’t seem particularly interested. We will return to Busboys & Poets on the hope that they were having on a waaay off night.

Superb BBQ by a company dedicated to serving those who serve. Military, First responders, Firemen and Police are remembered every day for what they do to make our country great. Their patches, badges, and posters adorn the walls and booths. The Brisket and all of the BBQ is good too! So are the sides. The one complaint is there are no accompaniments – pickles, onions, jalapenos, mustard for the sandwiches. Fast Service, affordable prices (discounts for those who serve) and a friendly fun atmosphere all in one place. God Bless America again!

We were looking for a late night place for a meal and this place was relatively close to our hotel.
Kind of a dingy diner, but it appears to have a local following. Located in a depressing strip mall, the place has all the ambience of a truck stop - friendly wait staff, worn furnishings and customers who appear to be down on their luck.
The food was not terrible. Strange, greasy and enormous onion rings. Big, over seasoned burgers. Extra charge for a side salad. Cold beer. Moderately priced.
Seems just about as expected.

I am visiting family here in Greenbelt, Md. where I lived for 3 years. New Deal was always a favorite place to eat foods not readily available elsewhere nearby, such as falafel, sweet potato soup, and other Lebanese cuisine which is completely unavailable in the area of NW Georgia where I now live.
The cafe was having live music that night as is often the case and that was a plus. Up9n entering, we could see that changes had been made. The more open outer dining area was an improvement and the outside seating and inner dining area where the entertainment and bar were located was still available. The menu had completely changed, however, and with the exception of hummus had none of the Lebanese flavor. We were told that the chef, who I had always assumed was the owner, had not " had his contract renewed".He is apparently opening a new place close by, but not for a few months. Menu was limited and disappointing. We almost left due to very little my toddler grandsons were likely to eat and aforementioned lack of expected cuisine, but we gave it a try. I had white bean and kale soup which was okay, but kale was too crunchy, and baked Mac and cheese which the babies had too.It was too cheesy for them and I found it less than great also. My daughter had a decent burger and their beverage options for adults was good.Sadly, we are unlikely to go back unless it is for a music program and drinks. Eagerly awaiting opening of previous chefs place.
