In summary:Racist jokes from the waiter40 minutes waiting while the restaurant is empty (2 people other than me)Very bad food, which they proposed!!!! It wasn't even what the waiter proposed, they brought something else, which I want to stress was BADVery bad and slow serviceMY DINNER HAS BEEN DISGUSTING!!!!!Full storyI sat at 21:15, there are two people in the restaurant other than me. The waiter takes his time with a colleague and arrives after five minutes. Then when he arrives he asks me where I'm from, and immediately after starts with offensive and racists jokes on Italian people. I told him that it is offensive and based on stupid stereotypes, he didn't even apologize. I should have left at that time, but instead...He suggests a starter, grilled feta, which I order, and then I pick pork souvlaki and a green salad (the waiter said they had it) as main dish. The salad arrived at 21:45, it wasn't a green salad, just some tomatoes with cucumbers. It's ok, but why didn't he tell me? They also added some brown bread that was as hard as stone. Then the souvlaki arrived. I've been traveling through Greece for 11 days at this point and I can't describe how bad this ones are. First, they are burned not cooked, very dry and hard. Then they were literally covered in salt, they didn't taste of anything if not salt. The only word I can use to describe them is disgusting. Also they come with cold chips. Yes, chips that were likely fried ten minutes before the meat was ready.I ask where my feta is, and the waiter (another one) at first looks puzzled, goes inside, and then tells me that in two minutes it'll arrive. So no starter but side dish, it's ok. But evidently they forgot about it because what arrives is a slice of feta cooked for thirty seconds in the microwave, not grilled at all. Disgusting as well as the souvlaki, feta in the microwave is not good. It was super soft and super salty, because in the microwave all the juice went out the cheese and what remained was a chewy paste with a lot of salt. Again I can't find any other word than disgusting to describe it.The only decent thing has been the location tonight. My dinner was... well, sorry to repeat my self, disgusting in my opinion, and while I write this review I both feel sorry because I know it can damage the people working here and I'm still hungry, because I ate only some salad and bread.Dear sir, i am the manager of Voukamvilia.Unfortunately i wasn't at the restaurant yesterday but i asked our employees about the incident. It's the first time someone says such bad things about us.Our employees behave in a very professional way and are extremely polite!!Our quality is of high level. All of our dishes are made with the best ingredients which we buy from local butchers and farmers!!You said that the waiter made racist jokes and was offensive with Italian people. You asked him to help you with the food.He told you that he has been in Italy and realised that the Italian traditional food is pizza and pasta.(our menu doesn't have pasta or pizza). Why is this opinion offensive? Then you asked him to suggest traditional Greek dishes! He proposed Greek salad with "feta" cheese(not green salad) and you wanted the cheese to be grilled(that's why it came later).we don't have microwave sir in our restaurant.Everything is on grill(carcoal) and some are made in a professional oven.Feta cheese is a salty cheese by the way!!The brown bread is called "Ντάκος" and is from Crete(and it is supposed to be hard and cruchy). Then you said about souvlaki. Why didn't you tell that it was salty when you tasted it??Instead you ate 3 of them!!You could have asked to be without salt!!and if it was burnt and salty why didn't you complained??We would imnediately replaced them and ask sorry.Instead you prefered to complain about the food when you were about to leave and you wrote that review!!I believe that the incident was a huge misundertanding!!We would have appologised if you had given us the chance! We are very sorry about your opinion for us!!Really it's very unfair!!We wish you to enjoy your stay in Greece and have a safe return back to Italy!!

This is a really amazing souvlaki place in Patras. Situated downtown, it's an excellent choice for all types of souvlaki. Actually some of the souvlakis served here are so innovative. Everything tastes really good. People are always so friendly and ready to help. The decoration is much more sophisticated than what you would expect from a standard grill house. There is only one drawback: some of the chairs are uncomfortable, despite their interesting design. And the prices are so reasonable. This is a must visit in Patras.

Nice place, nearby the center of town. It offers Greek and Grill cuisine: the quality and quantity of food is good but prices are a little bit expensive.
