We wanted to go out for a nice dinner and decided to try The Teller Collective. We went on a Wednesday night and didn't make reservations but since we arrived early we got a table, patrons arriving later did not. We shared a variety of small plates and each one was delightful, my favorite was the soft shell crab tacos - they were perfection. The desserts were sinful and everything was fresh as fresh. They probably need another server after 7, it seemed like they were having trouble keeping up once the restaurant was booked out. Will definitely go again and will make sure to make a booking.

We so enjoyed sharing a meal here. The food was world class. I had the salmon and my husband had the Rib Eye steak which was beautifully trimmed, perfectly cooked and delicious. The warm kifler potato salad that accompanied it was magnificent. The salmon might have been the best salmon Iâve ever tasted. I wouldnât have thought to accompany it with home made gnocchi and mushrooms, but believe me, it worked!The service was attentive but unobtrusive. The atmosphere was delightful, quiet and a pleasant change from the many noisy establishments around town. We wanted to eat there again the next night. I really wanted to try their seafood pasta dish, but sadly they were booked out. A memorable evening. I very highly recommend this restaurant.Hi Maryann, thank you for your feedback. We had visited this cafe several times a few years back and it was great... but never again! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel unwelcome by the rudest waitress ever! She gave us nothing and made it clear she couldn't be bothered serving us. We asked a couple of basic questions regarding coffee and the menu to which she replied, "I don't know." together with a look of indifference. When our meals were served (by another waitress with a similar attitude), 2 out of 5 of were enjoyed whilst 3 were disappointed. Everyone suffered lukewarm, milky coffee. What a shame, this cafe used to be a highlight. Awful experience, couldn't wait to get up and leave.
