Recently renovated Addison Motor Inn is a self-rated 4 star motel. Ideally situated between the town centre, Goulburn Valley Health and the Shepparton Private Hospital. Whether or not you are here for business or pleasure, the Addison provides style and comfort. With its well-presented rooms including King & Queen beds, doonas, leather recliners or sofas, split system cooling/heating, electric blankets, 46" LCD TVs, Foxtel, clock radio, phone, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, refrigerator and tea & coffee making facilities, microwaves, toasters, crockery, and separate en-suites to all rooms, and free wireless internet. Kitchenettes with cooking facilities are available in the newly renovated superior rooms. For added security all room entry doors are fitted with electronic locks and the property entrances are gated. Entry and exit with your room swipe card is required. Other features: guest laundry, an outdoor pool, bbq & gym memberships with Advanced Fitness (conditions apply).
Excellent Motel
Reviewed By themaddog74I usually struggle to get to sleep in motels, but I fell asleep straight away at the Addison Motel - the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to be able sit in a comfortable reclinable armchair to watch TV instead of having to sit on some uncomfortable seat or the bed. The room was clean and tidy with a decent fridge and well looked after decor. The motel has a pool, no restaurant, but is in walking distance from the RSL. This was a last minute booking but I will definitely stay at the Addison Motor Inn again if I'm in Shepparton. The motel offers secure parking - once the office closes, gates close which can be opened only by guests.

The property features two swimming pools (including indoor heated), spa and sauna. There are five function rooms on site which can cater for small groups or large gatherings up to 250 people. All function rooms are equipped with modern amenities and free car parking is provided. The Café-Bar-Restaurant is open from 7.00am daily for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Relax and enjoy life in the stylish and comfortable surroundings.
Noisy, overpriced and underwhelming
Reviewed By slm071This is close to the worst hotel stay I’ve had in a long time. I stayed in one of the rooms facing the main road and to say it was noisy is an understatement. Given that this isn’t a bargain basement property, a bit of double glazing or other noise abatement action would be expected for these rooms. The room itself was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was pretty clean (not super clean – the tiles in the shower were covered in smears and there were hairs in the bath). My biggest gripe with the bathroom is the placement of the door stop right in front of the toilet. Get up for a toilet stop during the night without the lights fully on at your own peril – it is a stubbed toe or trip waiting to happen. The spot usually reserved for luggage storage was unusable because it is where the microwave is located. Strange and inconvenient given there were two of us travelling with quite a bit of luggage. My biggest gripe is reserved for breakfast. A buffet breakfast is offered, however, it was paltry and cold. The advertised pancakes were not available and the pastries consisted of one sad croissant and a Danish. Despite it being very quiet, we had to search for a table that was not covered in crumbs or other remants from earlier meals. The meals area floor was dirty and if you’re there – check out the cobwebs on exit sign facing the main road. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and the beds comfortable.

And only 2 minutes walking distance form your room, next door at the Emerald Bank Nursery, kids can enjoy the mini golf course and miniature train rides while mum & dad sit back and relax at the Windmill cafe and Seven creeks chocolate shop, all part of making Paradise Lakes Motel a home away from home.
Terrible stay
Reviewed By LukeB120_35Stayed here for 4 days recently. Payed for a room with a spa, there was a note on the spa saying it doesn't work. The grass outside was a foot long then they mowed and left the clippings there so the kids couldn't run around anyway. The pillows were as hard as rocks so we had to go buy more. The lady in reception was very uninviting. And when we went to check out they weren't open on time. The whole hotel is very outdated and needs renovating. The outdoor hot tub was filthy and didn't work. But the pool was nice so that gets them an extra star.

Neat and clean
Reviewed By Cheryl KStayed for two nights. Very surprised at the cleanliness of the motel. Garden and surrounds were beautiful. No litter or even a leaf to be found. Car parks very big too. Pool area clean and nice, although we never used it. Rooms clean , we had x2 double beds , so comfortable , pillows great too. Had 2 great sleeps. Motel was booked out all weekend due to a Country Music festival . Thought it would be noisy at night, but so impressed how quiet it was. Our room at back of motel, so no road noise whatsoever. (Room 19) large big screen tv on wall with great reception. Tea, coffee supplied. Free WiFi. Would highly recommend this motel if you want a good nights sleep and some peace and quiet. Maccas right next door also Subway very close by, walking distance to both. I must applaude the owners and also the hard working cleaners for keeping the rooms fresh and clean . Well done. ???

I made sure before booking that they had at least Netflix before I booked. Paid my money and of corse disappointed. I rang them many times and waited for their staff to help, but they never came. My husband went to see them,but nothing can be done. I would not have booked with them if I had of know their lack of service. I am so sick of these hotels lying. What else are

Unusual lay-out for a hotel, but good
Reviewed By KaleneAndyWe stayed here for a couple of nights over a long weekend, taking advantage of the Victorian Government's travel voucher scheme to visit somewhere different. After a swift check-in in the main lobby area, it was a little surprising to find the rooms laid out like a 1970s motel, with cars parked up against the front doors. However, any thoughts of bare brown brick and Formica table tops were quickly erased on entering the room, which was very plush and modern. The heating was effective on the chilly Autumn mornings (though the placement of the reverse cycle unit immediately above the wardrobe door isn't the smartest location), and the spacious shower warmed up rapidly. A couple of small gripes. The wi-fi seemed to require endless logging-in, which was annoying across several days, and the website promotes "All inclusive hot and continental breakfast $25.00 per person", when only a la carte is available. Basics, people! The outdoor swimming pool was undergoing work during our visit, though it was too cold to have used it anyway. Check-out was quick and the hotel was happy to look after our bags while we explored the excellent Shepparton Art Museum (just a couple of minutes' walk away) prior to our return to Melbourne. There is not much accommodation available in Shepparton, but The Carrington is a decent option.
