We like Mitch's and the half price wine bottle offer in October makes it more inviting. They had a welcome back 3 course special that we enjoyed although my wife's dish had dairy which aggravated her allergy. I am surprised as Mitch's has been careful in the past with allergies. We had a wonderful Rombauer Chardonnay. The service was excellent and the food and wine specials made it very affordable.

12 of my family members met up in Palm Desert California and we ate out the first night at Mikado. The age range was from four years old to 72 years old, with the four-year-old not normally staying in one place for longer than five minutes. They took our order and then our chef came to the table to cook our food in front of us. We have done restaurants like this many, many times because my five grandchildren love the entertainment that accompanies the eating. Well, no one was prepared for how funny our chef would be. He told jokes and constantly interacted with everyone at the table. So much so, that even after almost 2 hours, the four-year-old had not moved an inch from his seat. He not only told jokes, but interacted with everyone so it was a floor show as well as a meal. It was pricey, I will say that. However, I felt like I was not only paying for dinner for 12, but also play paying for a night of in entertainment for 12 as well. It was loud, crazy and fun for all of us. And to top it off, the food was really good!Dear Guest,Thank you for such a prefect review. We truly appreciate all feedback that is provided to us! We look forward to welcoming you again whether for business or pleasure.

Welcome to Musashi Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar opened in 1996. Located at Highway 111 and Plaza Way, across from Westfield Shoppingtown, an intimate restaurant that combines soft lighting, and soothing jazz with an airy decor. In the center of Palm De
Musashi is a small, cozy place with a good menu, really good daily specials and the very best service. This was our first visit and we went for lunch. We were immediately greeted and and shown to our table. For an appetizer, we ordered their giant spicy ahi tuna martini, which is like Poke and served in a gigantic martini glass. Wonderful. Then we made a mistake. We ordered pork yokisoba (sp?). It came with a good salad and an excellent miso soup. But, we should have looked at their blackboard for the many daily specials. Oyster shooters, grilled Sea Bass and Spanish Mackerel and on and on, including sushi specials.Next time for sure. Musashi is slightly expensive but keep in mind that the portions are large and they will gladly split plates. And please, you must order the Mochi ice cream. Wowie.

This would be special if the first time, but it wasn't. The chef was quite personable and cheerful, and the waitress delightful. Our chicken dishes were not memorable in any way. Very noisy! People seem to have a good time here.
