Not sure why it is called New York pizza, because I'm from the East Coast and this pizza is not thin enough. However, if you aren't expecting East Coast pizza it is pretty good. We had them go light on the cheese and it was delicious. The place is very old school looking - no glamor. Still the service was good and the price is great. It is not hard to find parking in downtown Desert Hot Springs.

we had to est something before goong to bed so we went to pizza hut for a small meal, it was perfect to go there from where we lived. We where almost alone at the resturant. We had a small pan pizza to share and it was perfect, if you want a snack in the evening, pizza hut is good.

3. $5 Pizza Place

We were ordering in lunch for a business meeting. Someone suggested pizza. A friend said there is a $5.00 pizza place close by. I thought he meant the national chain. He said no, that this place is better. I wasn't sure. He went online and ordered 10 pizzas. He went and got them and brought them back. We had pepperoni pizza and cheese pizza. I have to admit that they were way better than the national chain.
