This would be special if the first time, but it wasn't. The chef was quite personable and cheerful, and the waitress delightful. Our chicken dishes were not memorable in any way. Very noisy! People seem to have a good time here.

We were a party of 6 and were able to make reservations, which was great as it was very busy, not only in the restaurant but with takeout also. Even though it was busy our food came out quickly and hot, as well as extremely tasty. We have been there a few times, but 4 others had not and the meal was enjoyed immensely by all, with the bill being reasonable. Will definitely return, if not this year again, definitely next year.

Welcome to Musashi Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar opened in 1996. Located at Highway 111 and Plaza Way, across from Westfield Shoppingtown, an intimate restaurant that combines soft lighting, and soothing jazz with an airy decor. In the center of Palm De
Musashi is a small, cozy place with a good menu, really good daily specials and the very best service. This was our first visit and we went for lunch. We were immediately greeted and and shown to our table. For an appetizer, we ordered their giant spicy ahi tuna martini, which is like Poke and served in a gigantic martini glass. Wonderful. Then we made a mistake. We ordered pork yokisoba (sp?). It came with a good salad and an excellent miso soup. But, we should have looked at their blackboard for the many daily specials. Oyster shooters, grilled Sea Bass and Spanish Mackerel and on and on, including sushi specials.Next time for sure. Musashi is slightly expensive but keep in mind that the portions are large and they will gladly split plates. And please, you must order the Mochi ice cream. Wowie.

This is a new Thai restaurant that has been open 3 months. Located right behind Starbucks. Our meal was great!
I told our server that on a scale of 1-5, I wanted 7.5 spicy with Thai chiles for my Thai Beef Salad. That is what I got and my salad was wonderfully spicy. Most Thai restaurants donât take a request like that seriously. I had a really good sweat. My wife had Red Mountain with chicken, not spicy, and she loved that dish.Weâve been to Blue Orchid several times and our experience has alway been excellent. This is a serious Thai restaurant!

City Wok offers fresh, made from scratch Chinese cuisine at affordable prices. Each dish is made to order using the highest quality ingredients. It's our 23rd year in the Coachella Valley. Dine in. Efficient take out and delivery.
Filled with expectation (having checked the City Wok website that confirmed they were open in Monday), we walked over on an ill-fated Monday (big mistake) only to be greeted by a sign on the door saying it is closed on Mondays and the summer schedule was as follows:Monday: closedAll other days: open at 3:30 until 9:00 pmSigh. Major disappointment on our end but better you read it here than waste a trip to read the notice yourself. On the up-side, Ralph's is open and, in a pinch, they also sell (guess what?) food!Apparently, June is the kick-off month for these summer hours. I suppose they just don't think any visitors to the Marriott resorts will be hungry while they close on Mondays. Think again, City Wok!Like the Mamas & Papas sing:Every other day, every other dayEvery other day of the week is fine, yeahBut whenever Monday comes, but whenever Monday comesYou can find me cryin´ all of the timeSniff. Pass me a tissue.

Our experience at Pho Vu has been inconsistent, sometimes good, sometimes not good but today the four of us had a really good meal. Two of us had spicy chicken, one had Pho and my wife had Bun.The service was good, the prices were fair so weâll be back. Thanks Pho Vu. You can be good.

Very nice place tucked away in a small shopping complex on El Paseo. The inside is nicely decorated, well lit, and quiet enough that conversation is easy. Food was excellent

This is certainly not priced at the same point at your usual strip mall Thai food restaurant due to "slightly higher prices" related to it's location. The menu is extensive. Our order was well prepared and presented (based on our limited experience with Thai cousine). The service was excellent and was the highlight of our visit. Pete was helpful, entertaining, polite and knowledgeable and knew how to balance his interaction with us - probably as good as the best service we have experienced anywhere (if you go and are lucky enough to be served by Pete, you will not be disappointed). We will certainly be Re-Pete customers :)Dish recommendations: Dumplings and Three's Company

Enjoy authentic Teppanyaki dining in Palm Desert, CA at Mikado Japanese Steakhouse located in the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa Dining. We offer a classic Japanese menu with locally grown ingredients and a sushi bar.
12 of my family members met up in Palm Desert California and we ate out the first night at Mikado. The age range was from four years old to 72 years old, with the four-year-old not normally staying in one place for longer than five minutes. They took our order and then our chef came to the table to cook our food in front of us. We have done restaurants like this many, many times because my five grandchildren love the entertainment that accompanies the eating. Well, no one was prepared for how funny our chef would be. He told jokes and constantly interacted with everyone at the table. So much so, that even after almost 2 hours, the four-year-old had not moved an inch from his seat. He not only told jokes, but interacted with everyone so it was a floor show as well as a meal. It was pricey, I will say that. However, I felt like I was not only paying for dinner for 12, but also play paying for a night of in entertainment for 12 as well. It was loud, crazy and fun for all of us. And to top it off, the food was really good!Dear Guest,Thank you for such a prefect review. We truly appreciate all feedback that is provided to us! We look forward to welcoming you again whether for business or pleasure.
