Le Tandem is a small, semi cozy restaurant in the same building/compound as a small hotel. Seats about 30 people and the decor' is circa 1970's.After being seated we were presented with four small squares of toasted bread with this delicious soft cheese We ordered two starters. First one was sautéd scallops; small and a bit too much garlic for my taste. A great salad with fresh radicchio, goat cheese and shave parmesan could easily be shared was the other starter.Having read about the duck confit, we were disappointed it was not available. An issue with bird disease or something wiped out much of the domestic duck population. Both of us opted from the lamb shoulder, simmered for over seven hours, the crusty scrapping from the pot added a meaty flavor to the dish.Very moist, but not soupy.Vegetables were - what do you want? Robert ordered mashed potatoes with mushroom. Delicious Scalloped for me; crusty, not burnt. And the ratatouille - better than what I have eaten in France/Paris!The wine cellar is not really a cellar - more of a pantry with no door. No wine list; you walk in with the proprietor, discuss the wines and he gives you a price. Decent selection. Storage is sad - temperature - for a decent wine. Prices were reasonable. Decor/ambience -3Service - 6 Wine - 7/8Food - 8/9.Overall very good. Obvious regulars there. Highly recommend the lamb shoulder, salad and veggies!

Located within Alliance Française, where you can run away for the traffic and air of the city, surrounded by a small garden that allows us to get closer to nature a little. Papa cuisine collects a great amount of gastronomic experiences that guide the pal
We live not far from here so walked in to check it out mid afternoon. We were actually heading to the pizza place instead. Food was great, lots of different international type dishes from all over the world. I had schnitzel, lovely. Will definitely go back to see what the area is like a bit later in the day.

We were staying in central Accra and this was a 15 minute ride from our hotel and well worth it. There is also parking outside. On arrival there is a desk on the ground floor but the Urban Grill and its reception is on the first with a lift taking you up. We were shown to our seat and water was served. The menu is varied, but with a good selection of steaks. For a starter I had crispy prawns, very nice and also spicy, my partner had scallops, properly cooked but only two of them on a strange dry sandy base. The differing sizes were notable. For the main my partner had a perfectly cooked medium rare filet mignon with mash and excellent vegetables and I had lobster and rice, having swapped the black rice for garlic rice. Very tasty but this time it was my dish that was the smaller, and was fine.We had an excellent bottle of Valpolicella Classico and we both very much enjoyed the whole meal. Service was excellent, very friendly and if anything too quick, a little slower we would have preferred.Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are happy you enjoyed your visit.Your comments, good and bad, have been passed on to the necessary departments. We place a lot of emphasis on customer experience and ensuring good quality food, drinks and service in a fun and lively atmosphere, and we do hope to welcome you back soon.

The Accra night live doesn't end at Osu Oxford Street. The Coco Lounge at Stanbic Heights building is one place that serves up a touch of class and interesting menu. Wifey and I had a wonderful time here.

It took forever for Tapas Fever to hit Western Africa, but this spot in Afrikiko makes up for all those years. As the city's first Spanish tapas bar, Toro Tapas Bar fills a culinary niche. Quintessentially Spanish, our fresh and exciting menu offers somet
We watched the Afcon Soccer on the big screen at Toro and had a very enjoyable evening. The manager came to chat to us and made sure we were looked after. The waitresses are always attentive, efficient and friendly. We had a selection of tapas, all of which were tasty. A lovely evening outside watching the football.

Our dining experience at Bistro 22 was wonderful. The restaurant seem to cater to an eclectic crowd. The service was warm, friendly, and nonintrusive. The menu is international with a Ghanaian flare. Desserts are outrageous. We can't wait to return when we are in Accra.

La Chaumière seems to have been in Accra forever and it shines as a beacon for good quality cuisine with friendly service. The food has always been, and continues to be, first-rate. The grilled grouper in a pepper sauce was as good as I've eaten in West Africa for ages. The interior design is relaxed chic. The serving staff are efficient and friendly, and the owner and his wife are charming hosts making sure that they come to the table of all diners.Small car park and it can get very crowded, so best to book a table.
