Travellers in the beautiful Alsatian countryside, seek out "auberge", the little family inns that dot the roadsides, to eat well and enjoy the scenery. They know they will find fine food and glowing spirits, at an excellent value. Our menu is extensive and full of the flavors of Alsace and traditional French cuisine. Excellent food and service, attention to detail and a casually elegant atmosphere are hallmarks that have made L'Auberge Chez Francois a Washington favorite. We sincerely hope that you will enjoy your visit with us. Jacques Brasserie at L'Auberge is open Tues-Sat,5-9:00PM,Sunday 3-7:30PM. Reservations for Jacques' Brasserie via phone only!
This restaurant is really a destination. The ambiance is warm and friendly, the staff is impeccable, attentive, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. The food is, in a word, superior and consistently superior. My husband and I have been dining here for many years at both Jacques Brasserie and L’Auberge Chez François for special occasions and normal dinners. We are always delighted with our meals. Today we had brunch for the first time and it was scrumptious. Warm, homemade croissant, fruit salad, my husband had eggs Benedict and I had a cheese omelet with potatoes and veggies. Warm French apple tart for dessert. Superior flavor combinations, presentation and smells. Total exquisite dining experience each and every time. If you have not eaten here yet make an effort to get here soon. A must experience on everyone’s bucket list!

Wanted to meet some old friends we hadn't seen in over thirty-five years. We would be driving home on a Friday from the Smoky Mountains to Maryland. They live in Reston and hit the Katie's Cars and Coffee gathering nearly every Saturday morning. OK then, we'd overnight somewhere near there Friday night and meet them at Katie's.
Arrived just before 7:30 AM. What a zoo! Cars and people everywhere. Per their suggestion we headed straight to the Safeway across the street to park. Worked our way through the masses and machines to Katie's. Our friends had secured a table on the front deck. After some reminiscing, two us went off to see the cars while the women remained at the table. Amazing adult toys all around. Brought back memories of the early seventies in Arizona when we both owned 911's. Upon our return, we managed to get a table inside for breakfast. First you order and get a number. Coffee and sandwiches are picked up at the end of the counter to the right. Eggs, pancakes and the like are delivered to one's table. Cappuccino, salmon bagel, silver dollar pancakes were wonderful.
By the time we were finished, the place had thinned out quite a bit. More surprising was outside. Hardly a car..or person..in sight. Reminded me of the ServPro slogan - 'like it never even happened.'
Just a perfect morning. Now have to figure how to reciprocate here in northern MD.
Included some car pics. Guess I should have taken a few of the restaurant itself.

Been here twice! Ice Cream is awesome! Real Milk products! All fresh! Not a huge variety but what they do carry is very good! Worth stopping in.

Been coming here for years. Most recently last week upon the arrival of family for Thanksgiving. We were a large group so we made a reservation. Easy peasy.
Service is friendly and fast, but not rushed. Great, varied menu. Atmosphere is warm and cosy inside in the Fall/Winter, or light and bright in the conservatory type area.
Everyone enjoyed their meal, and I once again thought how lucky we are to have such a yummy, welcoming, and reliable place so close buy.
Fried chicken night is awesome, as are the Shepherd's Pie and the Fish & Chips (regular menu items). My uncle and husband had the Pork Chops on this visit and loved them. Lately, I am enamored of the Fish Sandwhich.
Good wine and beer selection.
Highly recommend!

This is a great Starbucks with plenty of seating and friendly baristas. The coffee is dependable across the board, and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Restaurants in Alsace traditionally have a more formal dining room as well as a casual dining room known locally as a weinstube or brasserie. Diners enjoy traditional, hearty Alsatian dishes accompanied by local wine in a warm and relaxing atmosphere.Jacques’ Brasserie was opened at L’Auberge Chez François to bring the tastes and comforts of the Alsatian brasserie to Great Falls, Virginia.
We are so lucky to live nearby such a fabulous restaurant. Definitely a special occasion spot, but we enjoy the "brasserie" downstairs that has a smaller menu with the same impeccable service. Beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the garden. We feel like we are in Alsace, although just a few minutes away from home.

Authentic home-style Greek comfort food in the heart of Great Falls, Virginia!
Nostos in Tysons Corner is my favorite Greek restaurant. Well, no longer “is.” Eugenia’s is every bit as good, but less pricey. I had the three spreads to start. I ate waaaay too much....and it was worth every bit of guilt I had for dessert. And after the spreads, octopuses s; absolutely delish. I’ll be back!

Came here with family celebrating, one of whom is vegetarian. Dozens of choices available. The service was thoughtful and detailed, the food very good. I'm not a fan of the narrow dining room which accentuated the volume (former Le Grand Appetit space). We had the chicken korma, goat, vegetarian curry and chicken curry. The korma while tasty could have used more chicken. Goat was extremely tender. The samosas were excellent, and the sauces were subtle and not over-heavy. We'll certainly return, and am glad for an Indian option in this area.

Full service BBQ restaurant and full bar. We also offer catering for all size events- full service, deliver options available. We offer a few brunch specials on Sundays (open at 10am). Our outdoor patio is open and dog friendly.
Nothing pretentious here -- just really, really good food served in challenging quantities and with friendly, fun staff. We prefer the bar seating, but the mix of good food and friendly treatment is available throughout the place. Frequent date-night outing for us -- interacting with...MoreThank you for the feedback! We appreciate the positive review and compliments! We love having you! Come back and see us again soon!

We were looking for an intimate quiet restaurant to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Dante's was superb! It's in an old house, with small separate dining rooms. Food was wonderful; service excellent! And, because we mentioned our anniversary, we got a free dessert to share and a $20 certificate for our next visit. Looking forward to returning ...
