Good place for takeout or onsite dining. Handy that they use a texting system so you can wander around town or whatever until your table is ready. We had a 12" build-your-own pizza with Canadian bacon, pineapple, and roasted red pepper that was pretty good. The Washington apple salad was also tasty. Good value and amount of food for 2 people.

This little ice cream/chocolate place is family-owned & has been here on the boardwalk a long time. There's a great selection of ice creams, a few sorbets, simple & deluxe cones, & lots of chocolates made right there. It's not a "candy store" per se, so look elsewhere for that kind of variety. But if you enjoy good ice cream & select chocolate treats (including dipped apples & other fruits), taffy etc, this is a great choice.
Only a couple very small tables inside, a bench outside. Counter workers are always friendly, even when the place is slammed with a line out the door. If I was forced to come up with constructive criticism I'd say the place itself could use a little updating & TLC.

The Hub is a coffee shop featuring Coda Coffee. We have the best breakfast and lunch burritos in Grand Lake. We also serve lunch sandwich wraps, homemade ice cream and pastries. We now serve fruit based smoothies. We have also expanded our gluten free options. Enjoy sitting on our patio while enjoying a glass of wine or beer.
Dropped in on a drive thru to the National Park. Server was friendly, made a great latte, and the price was decent. The Hub had indoor and outdoor seating and a clean toilet. What more could you ask for? Easy to find for an out-of-towner, right on the main drag of this beautiful small town.

We wanted just something quick for our first lunch in town and a local person recommended Cy's to us. We really like it. Breads were fresh and ingredients very yummy. We had sandwiches and soups. Staff bent over backwards to help us and get us served. Good variety of menu for those with vegetarian or glutten free needs. Also serves breakfast items like burritos and other 'hand held' options.

Our grilled chicken sandwich was tasty and reasonably priced. However, the ice cream was $6 (more than the sandwich), and even though touted as great and homemade, it really was not great - nothing special. At the register, they really used creative math - added $5 to bill, no itemizing, could not explain how they came up with that amount, and no receipt. The mystery pricing was really aggravating; their accounting practices and customer service in this regard really need attention.

I love The Wake!! I've lived in the area all summer and it is my favorite place to go on a day off. The baristas are so nice and the coffee is great. Being on the lake adds such a relaxing atmosphere. I'd highly recommend checking it out!

The Historic Rapids Lodge and Restaurant was established in 1915 and is situated along the banks of the scenic North Inlet River. Lunch (summer only) and Dinner (reservations recommended).Enjoy an extensive wine list and historic ambiance. Please visit our website for up to date menus.
Ordered the crab cake appetizer and were pleasantly surprised! Lots of crab and very little filler. Hubby ordered elk chops, even though he was a little worried about the raspberry demi-glace, because he doesn’t like anything sweet with meat. He was wowed by the chops – perfectly cooked, very tender and the demi-glace wasn’t sweet but very tasty. I had the Colorado lamb chops. They, too, were perfectly cooked and a very large portion. The salad to start was very nice with a variety of fresh lettuces. Shared a crème brulee for dessert. It was the best we’ve ever had and we are picky about it! Staff was friendly and attentive, the wine list was good and prices reasonable. Had a table inside overlooking the rapids of the river, and even saw some deer meandering by! A very nice location to enjoy a special dinner!

So firs time to Grand Lake and I must say it was absolutely fantastic. We arrived late afternoon and needed something to eat. Bunch of locals outside of this place so we quickly stopped. The buffalo burger is awesome along with the poppers. As we were there over the summer, everyone got their food to go and they either sat outside or went home. The shakes are great. Lots and Lots of fun

Come hungry for breakfast since this is only an all you can eat buffet. Eggs, potatoes, pastries, fruit, lots of pies, coffee, teas, juices, etc. No pancakes or waffles. Popular place. Slightly crowded. Very kind staff. Cat decor. I hope to stop again on my next visit to Grand Lake.

Home Made Icecream
Our party of 15 stopped for a treat on a hot day. Ice cream was great. We also had shaved ice and smoothies. A little overpriced and the flavored soft serve was not so flavorful. All of the hard serve items that we had were awesome - cones and sundaes.
