My husband and I stopped here for lunch on a cold, wet weekday, in anticipation of a warming lunch. There were a few people in the restaurant but not too busy, although more people arrived later. We had an excellent glass of champagne, but the entrees were all cold (as was the service) so we just ordered a main, with the intention of dessert. However, the souris d'agneau and accompanying couscous with vegetables was so bland that we passed on dessert and went straight to coffee. And another glass of that excellent champagne. Good coffee, delicious champagne, but definitely not worth a return visit.Madame,Nous sommes sincèrement désolés que votre visite dans notre établissement ne vous ait pas entièrement satisfaite, et vous assurons de tous nos efforts pour mieux vous recevoir la prochaine fois.Bien cordialement.Le Chef et son équipe.

An I really great experience from booking to paying and children friendly which you would not expect from such a restaurant. Food really good, free chocolate eggs for the kid and nice decoration. Only lowlight the not so tender entrecôte of my husband. Excellent!Bonjour, merci de votre visite. Au plaisir. Laurence

I was with a wine group. The 28 Euro prixe fixe luncheon (terrine of duck, salmon and panna cotta with uber fresh berries) was terrific. The restaurant is beautiful---high ceilings with beautiful moulding, crystal chandeliers, linen table cloth and good stemware. Service was excellent.FAB quality/price ratio, terrific service and a lovely dining room!

Called into this busy restaurant late on a Friday and they kept us a table for 9pm. The set menu for about 23 euros was superb. An excellent Pouilly Fumé was recommended to go with it. The service was helpful and friendly. Such a lovely and good value place.

Traditional restaurant, home cooking, fresh produce, market menu. Menus available in English and Chinese.
After reading a lot of Trip Advisor reviews, we decided to give this place a try on our last night in Epernay. We sat outside, in a forlorn looking patio behind the restaurant - really down at the heels. Dead plants, weeds, bird droppings, you get the picture. I kept thinking they could make it look so much nicer with little effort, but maybe they have no interest or need. There were several locals outside, too, not just tourists. It was a warm night, so inside with the oven wouldn't have been a good choice.Anyway, service was friendly and prompt (with iPad menu + pics in English, French and Chinese). Food was okay but nothing special but nothing wrong either. DH had one of their potato specialties - which he enjoyed. I had duck breast and green beans. Bottle of Macon Villages (very tasty and went well with the food), large bottle of Perrier. 65 Euros.

we didn't make a reservation before getting to Epernay, but luckily were able to get in on a Sunday night before we left town. while the staff wasn't super fluent in English, and i'm not the best French speaking tourist, we managed to get through it, and even get some recommendations on wines. the food really is 5 star! beautiful presentations and flavors. i had a wonderful fish main and an inventive zucchini and crab starter. a great place for a bit of a dressy date night while your in Epernay, and it was an easy walk to our B&B on the Ave de Champagne.

Great little spot to pick up delicious picnic supplies. Service was friendly, prompt, and kindly willing to communicate in English. We had a smoked salmon sandwich and a veggie quiche with salad. This wasn't french gourmet cooking but it was a very satisfying lunch and definitely worth a stop if you need something quick, fresh, and yummy.

We booked just as per the recommendations on Trip Advisor, this restaurant is absolutely magnificent.Max greeted us smiling using his best English at the door with his waiter so warm and seriously sincere. We decided to eat from the menu instead of a degustation as we didnât want dessert. The meals were sensational my wifeâs snails amazing, as was my duck liver pate, my wifeâs scallops were cooked to perfection my Chateaubrand with the waldorf sauce a real delight. The wine suggested by the waiter perfect. We walked here, an easy ten minute walk from the centre of town and like us do yourself a favour - donât leave Epernay without coming here

We first came here about 5 years ago and had a wonderful meal. We brought friends back this time and it was just as amazing - again. Food is traditional french, done beautifully, rack of lamb cooked to perfection! Kristel and her team's service was impeccable and friendly, making it a great and memorable night for all. And what a wine list! Fantastic selection of champagnes, of course, and a great range of other French wines. Highly recommended, without hesitation.
