Cayman's favorite beach restaurant - worth going further for! Part thatched tiki bar, part European beach chic, part breezy Californian cool, and a generous dose of Caribbean nauticalia â youâre in for an aesthetic treat at this Cayman beachfront restaura
We were looking for a quick casual dinner after a long day. This was a very short drive from where we are staying. The ambiance was delightful. The service was excellent everyone very friendly and they all addressed you with a smile or a comment. You choose where you want to sit. You can sit right on the beach or inside an open air area. They have a nice bar area as well. The mudslides were recommended and the salads. So we each ordered a mudslide and I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken added. The salad was $14.00 and adding the chicken was an additional $8.00. My husband ordered the burger and French fries. Both were very good. A little too much dressing in my salad for my liking but it was a homemade Caesar dressing which was delicious. The mudslides were decent but we have had some back home that were unforgettable in comparison. We would not order them again. Keep in mind we donât typically order mudslides regularly. All and all nice dining experience and we would definitely return.

Upstairs at Kaibo is renowned as a regal and refined restaurant, where grand plantation house design meets its match in the kitchen. Lauded by locals as the islands finest restaurant, the restaurant chefs cook up a storm, whilst diners enjoy the spectacul
We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary there. The food was over the top, the staff was very attentive and at the end they gave us this beautiful plate with a sparkler and "Congratulations - 35th" written in chocolate. My husband and I passed by this place several times while we were staying in Bodden Town. Decided to come by here for dinner one night as it seemed to be a place where a lot of locals were hanging out. We ordered the jerk chicken and grilled mahi-mahi dishes. Both dishes were beyond outstanding!! The fish was cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth good. The jerk chicken was extremely flavorful. Prices were EXTREMELY reasonable for the amount of food received. The servers were very friendly. Hoping to return here before we head home.

We stopped here on our way home from watching the sunset on 7 mile beach. Everything else was closed because it was late on a Sunday. We got takeout jerk chicken and jerk pork, and they were fantastic. And cheap compared to other places!

The waitress walked us through a seedy looking bar with obvious regulars bellied up. She took us out to the patio which had a very steep step which my daughter fell down. The food was average at best and I really can't say much else bc there is nothing left to say. I would skip this place.

Views are spectacular and service was very friendly and welcoming. The red snapper with coconut sauce was amazing. Cooked & seasoned to perfection with a slightly sweet flavorful coconut sauce. The surf & turf was also cooked & seasoned to perfection. The wahoo ceviche was fresh with parsley, onion, red pepper, onion and lemon juice. Delish! Surprised that more diners are not going to this restaurant.

After reading the reviews, we tried going here for dinner, but they were out of food. Understandable, so we came back the next day for lunch. We were the only group in the restaurant. We placed an order for 2 jerk chicken plates and 2 roasted mahi plates at 1:10pm. At 2:10pm, the jerk chicken plates finally arrived, and we were informed that the fish would take another 30 minutes. We switched the fish order to 2 more plates of jerk chicken, which arrived right away. I understand island time and all, but we were the only people there and there were 2 employees working the grill. It just can't take 1 hour to get food and then have it not even be available. On top of that, I paid the bill for $10 (CI, meaning $12.50 US) per plate times 4 for jerk chicken, despite the board by the register advertising jerk chicken for $8 CI. I am sorry that this isn't a better review--we really wanted to enjoy your restaurant but it was a disappointing experience. The food was fine, not the best or worst jerk chicken we had during our week.Hi MikeThank you for taking the time to leave a feedback. We apologise for not meeting your expectations.I am unsure why there was such a delay in processing your orders. But note our seafood options are daily catch and our take out orders are increasing daily.Seperately, our jerk chicken is a fixed cost for the protein only. Perhaps you had several sides that totalled your final bill.In any event, I will relay your comments to the team so they can improve where necessary.Kindest regardsOlivia

Small beachfront restaurant with some of the best local food we have ever eaten. The lady who runs and the restarant and cooks all the food we are told is the former chef for The Edge which was washed away during the hurricane. Food was amazing and she is
We attempted to have lunch here one day and I'm sure we would have enjoyed it more had we. I'd been looking forward to trying all the yummy things I'd seen in the reviews. The problem is google maps doesn't acknowledge it's existence. It won't pull it up by name and if you try to put in the address you see here on Trip Advisor, google maps takes you nowhere near the restaurant. A second day, I navigated to maps from the Trip Advisor app and we got right to the restaurant. Unfortunately, I'd planned on grabbing some food to go for dinner. As such, we arrived at 5:00 and they didn't have much left. None of the things I was looking forward to trying. I kind of had the sense that the young mand there was shutting things down, but he graciously told me what they had still and said he could cook it right up. Got some Mahi Mahi (it was that or garlic shrimp as the only options). It was alright. I don't think it was the freshest. While the nice young man was cooking and we were sitting on the back deck, I kept hearing a microwave, so I think he was thawing the fish. It wasn't bad. Well seasoned and cooked. Came with a little salad, rice and fried plantains. Also, the little fried doughs served in these local joints. These were the best I'd tasted on the island. I don't eat carbs, but couldn't resist eating 2! They tasted like not too sweet donuts, almost melting in the mouth. I'm sure if we'd made it that first day for lunch, we would have enjoyed it much more.

We were staying at Sea Palm Villas so we walked down the beach to have lunch at The Grape Tree Cafe. The restaurant is a hit on the beach where they make the food and you eat at picnic tables on the beach. The view was amazing but there was piles of seaweed on the beach so there wasnât the greatest smell. My wife ordered the fried BBQ chicken and I had a special of the day - mahi mahi. We had to wait a while for our food since there were a few other people there. The portions were large and the food was ok. The prices were right and it was nice to eat on the beach. Styrofoam and plastic silverware.
