What a beautiful location with views of the harbor. So glad we picked this hotel and it’s location above the town. It was very quiet and a 5 -10 minute walk into town. The staff here is very friendly and helpful.

Intimate, relaxing and serene, totally renovated and rebuilt, on two beautiful Caribbean beaches. Private, but accessible to the gastronomic village of Grand Case. Warm, friendly service will have you coming back time after time! All accommodations with full kitchens, WiFi and TV.
This resort is located at the end of the town of Grand Case which is a bit further from the airport than Marigot. The scenery from the rooms and hotel is just amazing with turquoise colors in the water everywhere you look. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Maid and other staff very polite. We loved the restaurant on site with its amazing location right over the water and fantastic views of the sunsets. The meals at the restaurant were excellent with different specials every night. Go for the Moule fest - mussels on Thursday which were just super. Many of the staff speak French which my wife loved as she got to practice speaking but everyone speaks English so no worries if you don't. Rooms are nice and have been recently renovated. All the standard rooms are on the first floor so go for a one bedroom as will be on the 2nd level with better views. Lofts are on the 3rd level. We would definitely go back to this resort. There are also several good restaurants within a 10 minute walk in the town of Grand Case. Given there are kitchens you can buy food at a store and do your own thing as well. We will note that the town is a bit run down and still not rebuilt from the 2017 hurricane and you will see that over much of the island.

In the heart of Grand case, village having preserved its authenticity and charm, capital of French gastronomy , discover the “LTC Boutique-Hotel” pure product of the Clothing brand "Le temps des Cerises Jeans". The 8 rooms offer each a breathtaking panorama with a mesmerizing view of the Caribbean Sea. Sobriety , elegance and refinement have inspired this unique decoration, where all is calm. And serenity.
The hotel was gorgeous and all staff were very kind. The bar was great and the food sensational. I saw the staff eating their meal and it looked like the most heavenly pesto pasta I’ve ever seen and they were kind enough to make me bowl the next day, and the day after. It was incredible. The rooms were very picturesque, and some are much larger than others. The first few days we had a room on the ground floor, near the restaurant, it was small but sweet. Then we moved over to the larger ones near the check in desk and those were amazing. Much bigger with room to move around and such. Go with those. The beach was perfect and the servers were generous with us wanting extra shade and moving umbrellas for us. We walked the beach each morning and on the last day, walking down towards the rocks (away from the pier) we saw 3 sea turtles swimming right by the beach. We found this boutique hotel to be a much better beach and visit than when we stayed on the Dutch side at the Westin a couple years ago. The French side has more smoking unfortunately, but has better food and beaches.

The location is excellent. Great restaurants within walking distance. Beach is nice and almost a mile walk from end to end for morning walks. The staff is very nice. The beds comfortable. The AC works for those that like a cold room or turn it off. The construction is newer given a rebuild from the original a couple lots next door. The old building is still standing. We had an upper ocean view with loft. This arrangement with two beds and two baths was great for our family of four. There was bigger than small fridge. Here’s the downside and why it gets 2 stars. There is a terrible sewage smell in room 16 where we stayed. The smell seems to be coming out of all pipes including shower drain, toilet and sink. When you enter the room you gag from the blast of sewage. You get reminders from time to time while in the room. Your clothes start to smell like it. For this single reason, I would advise not staying here. And then there are no beach chairs. Towels on a steep beach is no fun. And also water pressure is terrible. Not functioning for those with thick hair or sand and sunscreen mixed. Impossible to rinse off. There is potential here, but a couple major show stoppers.

One word...Bernice!! The owner couldn't have been more welcoming, accommodating and truly warm spirited! I was treated like a friend from the minute I checked in. Being a solo traveller, this had an amazing impact as it can be a bit lonely in a big anonymous hotel. I was working at the SXM festival at Happy Bay, a 3 minute drive so the location was perfect. Best water pressure I have ever experienced, and no bugs! I am really glad I chose to stay at Over The Hill, it was a great experience and look forward to my return next year. The only advice I have, hit the supermarket as things on the French side of St Martin close early
