Boating, snorkeling, diving…there are endless ways to explore the aquamarine waters of Grand Case. Nestled in a northern crook on the French side of Saint Martin, Grand Case is beloved by tourists and locals for its gourmet cuisine. Indulging in a decadent French meal after a long day in the sun is one of Grand Case’s greatest pleasures. Cap off your evening by sipping local rum as you marvel at the “green flash” of the sun kissing the sea good night.

Nice terrasse with a carribean see view, possibility to have lunch also on the beach. Friendly family ambiance.
We drove to Grand Case to eat at Le Soleil on the recommendation of a friend who visits St Martin often and who we know has good tastes. We were the first to arrive for Friday lunch but the place was pretty busy by the time we left and this was low season.
The view from the waterside tables is nothing short of idyllic - welcome to paradise.
The owners were away on vacation but that didn't seem to impact our experience. I had the Scallops and Shrimp in curry sauce - the scallops were melt-in-your-mouth perfect and the sauce was very light and complimented the food without ever overshadowing it. My wife picked a lobster from the tank and it was served split in half with a little green salad and a bowl of drawn butter. We picked a bottle of the Sancerre to go with it. The food truly was excellent both visually and gustatory. This was capped off by a very tasty cup of cafe-au-lait.
The icing on the cake was when we got to Marigot we realized my wife had left her camera behind somewhere so we retraced our path. The staff laughed when I walked in as they had put it safely to one side since they had no way to reach us - I always appreciate honesty and make a point of thanking the person when I encounter it.
Highly recommended indeed.

The Sol restaurant invites you to a unique dining experience in an elegant, intimate and romantic place in the Caribbean. Within this Creole house tastefully decorated and surrounded by a tropical garden, you will discover a delicate and refined cuisine. Chefs offer you imaginative and innovative dishes in respect of the French culinary tradition together with a selection of preferred wines
Had dinner there Valentine’s Day. Had a choice of only 2 appetizers, main coarse and desserts. Base price was 68 euros ($80) per person. Wife ordered scallops. She got 2 undercooked scallops for her main coarse along with 1 stalk of asparagus and a tablespoon of risotto. Really? For $80 I thought there would be more. Someone must like this because it’s always busy. But never again for me.

So happy that Bistrot Caraibes reopened after Hurricane Irma. This place never disappoints. My husband always has the lobster thermidor. He is always happy with it. I've never been disappointed with any dish. The escargot are awesome, and the house cured salmon is great. The service is super friendly and knowledgeable. Can't wait to return.

From the warm greeting at the door through the after dinner drinks - La Villa provided an excellent experience!
The board menu offered a delightful selection, with each being delicious. The cold pumpkin soup, duck and cod were outstanding. An endive salad with figs and prosciutto was alone a great treat. One member of our party stated the lamb shank with foie gras was the best he ever tasted. Save room for dessert as they are home made and worth every bite!
But the biggest delight was the service. Lots of great suggestions and just the right attentiveness made this restaurant 'excellent'. Treat yourselves!

Donna and her husband Pascale have most favorite restaurants. Always one of our favorites restaurants in Grand Case, they now serve a menu which varies daily based on what ingredients are fresh. Open for both lunch and dinner, our dinner started with a beautifully prepared shrimp scampi, followed by a hearty serving of lasagna and then an amazing pork tenderloin with unique blueberry balsamic sauce. With a dollar per Euro exchange rate, the meal was both as economical as it was delicious. And as usual, Donna provides a shot of limoncello at the end of a very satisfying meal. Go to Piazza Pascale and you won't be disappointed.
