Place was clean, was seated promptly, Menu looked good, then all came crashing down. I had a side salad, very god cold and crisp. I ordered the Brisket Plate. It came and it was terribly dry, absolutely no smoked taste or BBQ taste to it at all. I asked for some BBQ sauce figured it couldn't hurt the brisket any, I was almost flabbergasted to have a very small metal thing of sauce brought to me. I mean all good BBQ houses have different BBQ sauces on the table . . . . .don't they? I ordered sides of a Baked Potato and the Cole Slaw. With out a doubt, these were the very best part of the meal. The Cole Slaw was about the very best I have tasted in a long, long time. The baked potato was also absolutely excellent. I had to ask for sour cream two times and then a third before it showed up. I was so annoyed about the brisket I spoke to the manager about it. I think the brisket cook ought to go back to automotive school!!!!! I won't be back for sure.

Braum's is perfect for a quick stop for groceries. They have meats and dairy products plus some veggies. They specialize in dairy with great eggs and milk. The ice cream is wonderful. The counter serves up burgers and all the fixings. Be sure to try the sundaes or milkshakes.

With a large patio area viewing the lake The Grille is an ideal setting for Sunday lunch - reservations aren't accepted. Lots of bird life to see whilst dining - red cardinals, herons, eagrets & Turkey vultures.
There's also a large indoor dining area.
The food was good and the service friendly and well paced. There's a reasonable wine list.
Recommended.

Good, fresh home cooked meals. Variety of burgers, sandwiches, pizza and daily specials. When traveling down Hwy 180, it is definitely worth the stop. Very busy during lunch hour, especially if there is a lot of courthouse activity, like trials. Homemade pies like Grandmaw made. Fresh fudge & other candy available in store. I don't agree with the previous post about price gouging; the food is excellent and the serving are large. The fried sweet potatoes are amazing!

I'm not a big doughnut fan.. But next to crispy creme, these are seriously the best doughnuts* I've ever had! I would recommend going here.

After a family gathering, our party of 18 arrived at The Cafe' unannounced. We were promptly seated and everyone had a beverage within minutes. Not one single order was incorrect. Everyone reported that their order was delicious. The menu has a lot to offer. Porrion sizes are enormous! We did not notice the unusual smell that others mentioned. We had delightful wait staff taking care of us and they were on the spot promptly for drink refills. The food and staff here are a winning combination!

Put this place on my list due to amount of excellent and very good reviews. Could have ordered lunch but opted for breakfast. Ordered over medium eggs with sausage, hash browns, biscuits and gravy. Everything was average at best, including the coffee. One egg was overcooked. Hash browns were skimpy in portion and dry. Was there for five minutes before anyone greeted me, and I was sitting at the counter! Overall visit was disappointing, but I'll give them one more try for lunch.

We went after hearing positive comments from friends. Despite that, we didn't have high expectations, just given the remote location. After driving to it, it turned out to be easy to get to and a nice drive.
We went early in the evening and were seated immediately. Waitress was great and had a good personality. Drinks were quickly brought, but we never felt rushed at anytime during dinner. Appetizers were basic, but good enough to take home. The entrees were perfect in presentation and preparation. Steak was tended and the kitchen obviously knows how to cook (and not overcook) beef. The seared tuna was fresh and flavorful. We made a special menu request and it was carried out without a problem. Dessert was a crème brulee and molten lava cake. Both excellent.
The bar was well-stocked and not over-priced.
Enjoyed the people and highly recommend this place.

The Bistro is open for lunch with dinners to go and catering available. We have recently re-opened our fabulous patio for Spring! It boasts it's own outdoor kitchen and menu with porch swings, a putting green, live music, games for the kids! Look for Hole in the Wall Grill and Bier Garten
Stopped here for lunch last week. Had a salad of greens etc with two scoops of chicken salad, which was good but different. Still haven't figured out exactly how it was made.
Staff was friendly & food was served promptly. The store is lacking in product & looked a bit messy also the food in their cold cases looked a bit old & unattractive. A bit of organizing & cleaning up would make this Bistro fun to eat at.
