Wonderful food in a very nice out-of-the-way restaurant.
Cuccia's is one of the gems we have hidden up in our little corner of the world - an Italian restaurant that would be a hit anywhere in the country. Maybe even in Italy!
Usually they're pretty busy on weekends so we make reservations; last night (a Friday, about 8pm) we just decided to walk in and see if they could find a seat for us. Hostess/owner Gina, like always, made us feel completely welcome, got us a glass of wine and told us we'd have the next available table, which took about 5 minutes.
At our table the service was excellent, soon we were enjoying another wonderful meal. My wife decided to go with 2 'small plates', steamed clams and spaghetti with meatballs. Small? Either one would have been a full meal, but she (with a little help from me) gamely managed to eat it all. Actually not really a challenge as both were delicious and it was hard to stop eating! I had chicken marsala, which was a test as I think I made the best chicken marsala ever. Well, I've been soundly beaten... thin slices of so-tender chicken breast smothered with the mushroom marsala gravy that had just the perfect balance of savory and sweet.
We've had dinners here many times over the years, each time I try to order something different, and I've never been disappointed - pastas, pizzas, everything. We're lucky we live nearby, but it would be worth a long drive to visit this beautiful area and dine at Cuccia's!

We specialize in hand-dipped chocolates and confections made onsite with lots of love. Twelve flavors of ice cream. 27 flavors of chocolate truffles. Toffee. Caramels. Candied Apples. Chocolate Strawberries. We use only the finest artisan ingredients. Yummy!
I love chocolate. Everything looked outstanding. Bought 8 pieces for $32. Without chocolate it was like wax (Maui Wowie ) chocolate death was remotely like chocolate. Butter finger had a whiff of chocolate. This place will not be in business once people from out of Graeagle catch one.

Stopped in with my son for a brew. Found the beer very good. Looks like this would be a great place during warmer weather. Being fair it's hard to say why there isn't a warm place to hangout during the colder days. Maybe it's coming. Either way this place is worth stopping at when in the area.

We stopped here after seeing it a few times. It's a very pleasant, wholesome place. And it smells wonderful. We had corn patty cakes and that was fun. I had the strawberry lemon aid and that was really delicious. Then we had the family meal of brisket. Now honestly, I was not sold on it, but my boyfriend was. He thought it was great.
However we saw some of the other dishes being and services and man, I gotta try their fried chicken! It's looks de-lish!

We liked the look of the menu online and decided to give the Grizzly Grill a try for our anniversary dinner. We went early, after a long hike hoping it wouldn't be too busy, and it wasn't. We arrived about 5:35 for our 5:45 reservation and were seated quickly.
We ordered the Chicken Gorgonzola and a Shrimp Pasta dish. Each came with soup or salad and bread. The clam chowder was very good and I upgraded my salad which was definitely worth the $2.00. We also each had a class of white Zin.
The chicken dish was fantastic, I had to refrain from licking my plate clean! My husband really enjoyed the shrimp pasta, as well. We split a creme brûlée for dessert and it was quite good, but I was surprised it was served cold- that was a first for us!
Everything was fantastic, server was very attentive and she even comped our glasses of wine!
Thank you, Grizzly Grill for making our anniversary dinner perfect!

Stayed nearby in RV park. Stopped for breakfast before kayaking. Half the delicious breakfast burrito went home for later. Huevos Rancheros was excellent. Very casual, sit outside under umbrella. Lots of locals stop by, some to pick up lunch to go on way to work. Very friendly folks here. Great little brunch place.

Located just outside Graeagle, California a short hour drive from Tahoe or Reno. Whitehawk Restaurant provides stunning mountain views from inside and outside the main dining area. The property is set on 23 acres nestled in the Mohawk Valley of Plumas County. Perfect for casual dining, group events, family reunions, and business get aways.
We stayed three nights in the cabins for our 50th wedding anniversary. The "private time" of the celebration. Breakfast in the restaurant included. Breakfast included cold items like yogurt, granola, etc. while a hot breakfast consisted of fruit, an egg casserole dish and a pastry...MoreGlad you enjoyed your time at Whitehawk Lodge and Restaurant. We look forward to seeing you again on your next visit.

Food is average here. The problem as you can see from the response to reviews is the owner never takes responsibility for anything. We came in to the restaurant last fall for cocktails around 8pm....there were people in the bar and restaurant when we arrived. Sometime around 9pm (I guess) the restaurant cleared out. We did not notice as we were on our third round of premium Cadillac Margaritas and really enjoying ourselves(3 ppl).....the bar tab was close to $100.00 dollars. The issue arose when the owner(Terry) came out and asked us if "we were done playing our Keno numbers?" I guess that was his "polite" way of letting us know that it was time to leave. I have worked in the restaurant and hospitality business for years and never had someone disrespect my patronage like that.....

We attended a wedding reception in the park next to the restaurant and they catered it, serving pizzas and salads and desserts! My husband and I went over to Longboards and had a drink on the veranda. The view was awesome, looking out over the golf course and a driving range. We didn't eat, but the lunches walking by looked fantastic!

We went there for breakfast and we always split our meals as I don't eat too much. We asked for a split and we don't mind paying extra for it but usually that means you each get a bit more food to share and it was only 3.00 which of course was cheap. Well when it came there was really not enough for both of us to eat and the food was not very good or the service. The potatoes were sliced very thin and were not very tasty and a small amount was served. It came with one slice of bread. The omelette was not filled very full and it was supposed to be a veggie but there weren't very many inside. We had to ask for more coffee and actually get up and do it as she didn't come around and the place was not busy at all. We also had to get up and ask for our bill. Too bad because it is right in downtown Graeagle but I would look for other options in the future.
