A town literally carved into the volcanic rock, Goreme is the gateway to the Goreme National Park, a vast UNESCO World Heritage Site that houses spectacular 10th- and 11th-century cave churches. The park itself is known for its chimney rock formations and is very popular with backpackers. It’s also a great area to sample Turkish cuisine and wine.

A Travellers Dream
My family and I highly recommend this hotel. The staffs (Sinan & Sayed) response in replying WhatsApp is quick and really helpful to assist in arranging tours and answering my questions. The breakfast is wonderful and feels home cooked despite limited choices that we never felt bored in the 3 nights we stayed here. We loved their fresh tomatoes and vegetables that I wish I could bring home some! Try also their made to order omelettes which are extra delicious. Wifi was fast - my wife loved it as she did not have the Turkish sim card. We had the family room for our family of five. The location was also about 400 meters radius from nearby restaurants. We loved our time in this region staying in this hotel.

I came here in desperation after a not so good hostel stay at another place the night before, so I really needed a win. I even had problems with booking online and just popped over in hope that they could still accommodate me. They were understandably confused but were able to get me my own room (what I wanted) and served me tea while we got situated. Breakfast was solid, the layered terraces were great, especially the top sitting area, and the staff were always helping in any way they could. I even checked out and was able to leave my stuff all day (they watched over it) and when I returned and had to wait until mu midnight bus, Özcan made conversation with me and gave me tea. Honestly, all 3 staff I met were awesome. Overall, I say a great spot for a solid price ??

ShoeString Cave House is in Göreme, at the very heart of the Cappadocia region. With great care for the environment and for the natural beauty of the rocks, five ancient cave houses have been restored and converted into accommodation where both Turkish and foreign visitors are made welcome. ShoeString Cave House has 20 bedrooms, an open air swimming pool and indoor and outdoor sitting and eating areas.

It was the best stay at Cappadocia if you’re travelling with friends. It was a great experience, the staff were really helpful. Zelda, Vidad and Yunus were really helpful, they made sure we had a comfortable, joyful and a memorable stay. Also, make sure you visit their restaurant Organic wine house for delicious delights and great wine.

Century Cave Hotel is located in the center of Goreme, 5 minutes walk from the bus station. The pension is in the middle of breathtaking surroundings with spectacular panoramic views of Goreme. Single to quad and dormitory rooms cut into fairy chimney rocks. Cave rooms with & without bathrooms. Breakfast, lunch and dinner available Laundry Service 24H hot water and heating in winter Satellite TV with English news and DVD movies And many other services...
We arrived late in the evening (as advised to the hotel) to a sullen reception at the hotel. The reception double queried the pre-payment of our booking and didn't offer to help with luggage. The room, while in a "cave" was at best below par: Mostly the old linen put me off. Breakfast was just as mediocre. The location and venue of the hotel are great, so they could achieve so much more with it with a little bit of effort.

I was looking for something without prepayment as we weren't sure about the dates and we have found Cappa! It's not expensive it's located perfectly and service is outstanding!! Great experience! Hostels in a good location, however the room has poor ventilation, no HVAC system, bad hygiene (unclean beds and toilets), Noted that bed rates are fairly inexpensive but the overall experience was extremely subpar. Goreme is a tourist town and is quite competitive. I switched to hostel right across for the equivalent tariff (dorm cave by travellers) which had nothing but amazing people and experience. If you would still like to stay here, I'd recommend staying there for a night and switching to a better hostel like the one aforementioned in the event of a negative experience. I truly have nothing but a negative experience with this location.

Nirvana Cave Hotel & Camping lies in the heart of Cappadocia, in the small town of Goreme. It is situated among fairy chimneys and fruit trees and is just a few minutes walk from the bus station and centre of town. At Nirvana Cave Hotel you can spend the night in a traditional cave room or in one of the stone built rooms with authentic wooden ceilings. Budget travelers can choose to stay in our unique cave room dormitory where the beds are fitted into niches in the rock. All the rooms at Nirvana Cave Hotel have been recently renovated (in 2010) to bring them up to date and meet the requirements of today’s travelers.
This is a great hotel in a perfect location at a walking distance from the open air museum and the view points for taking pictures of the balloons. The staff went above and beyond in helping me with all the questions I had about getting to know Cappadocia. It’s the first hotel I’ve been to where receptionist and staff actually care and helped me with questions I had without me even asking they offered to help me with information. The breakfast is good and the ladies that clean the room and serve the food are very friendly. The price is great for everything they offer. They contact you directo with travel agencies for tours. I will definitely come back to this place when I plan to visit Cappadocia again in the winter.
