We had a family meal and the service was geat. Very good with our grandchildren. We had a selection from the menu and shared the meal. Deserts were not inspiring but I have never found Chinese desserts very good. There was enough to keep the kids happy.
The food was beautiful with great service to match.Nice relaxed atmosphere.A good variety of meals which were also healthy.I would definitely return.

You are invited to take part in the traditional Chinese culture with countless delicious and fantastic dishes, whereby dishes are designed to be shared amongst families and friends.
We are Yum Cha junkies. When we saw the signage en route to Woolies, we went straight to BWS for a bottle of white and then walked in for lunch!A great surprise - and our signature favorites were really well done, in terms of portion and quality: steamed dumplings, (very lightly) fried octopus, roast pork and prawn cutlets. Most generous serving of chilli oil EVER. $2 BYO is very fair value, especially compared to others on the Gold Coast. The host was gracious and chatty.PS I can't believe some of the reviews. Admittedly, those with poorer ratings seemed to be a while ago. If you are a local, you should feel lucky to have this on your doorstep. As short-term visitors to Boat Works, we were thrilled we had a Yum Cha venue so close by.

My favourite dishes are always mini spring rolls, special fried rice, beef and black bean, sweet and sour pork, and BBQ prawns, prawn omelette, curry puffs, dim sims, and chicken and sweet corn soup, and chicken and prawn chow mein!!!All very YUMMY from this great local Chinese restaurant!!It's a real gem!

I have absolutely nothing to complain about! The food was delicious, the value was on point & the service was good. We are from Townsville where the Chinese there is pretty average, overpriced & the amount of food you get is little. So we ordered as if we were in Townsville, and that was a mistake! We had so much food left over & for a family of 5, we hardly made a dent! The dishes were packed with meat - NOT vegetables. So in terms of quantity you won't be disappointed. We paid about $70, but we got the followingSatay Sticks (x4)Spring Rolls (x 4)Singapore NoodlesGarlic King Prawn (with noodles)Chicken Cashew NutHokkien MeeCombo Fried RiceAnd they also provided FOC, Bag of prawn Chips & a Steamed Rice!I'd also like to add that it was very filling, and we didn't feel all crappy after it. It sat nicely so it obviously doesn't have MSG, or lots of perservatives. We were very happy with the take away the price & the value.

This restaurant offers not only the Best Delicious Food but cooked how you like it. Jenny and the staff are so friendly and the service is excellent - always with a smile. Always so fresh, tasty and piping hot. The spring rolls as an entrée is our favourite to start off with, Coconut Rice a must ! The menu has a good selection to choose from, even if you are dining during the lunchtime they offer an excellent selection.

We have been here a couple of times and always have a good meal. Service is always very attentive and the bowl of lollies at the ens is a nice touch. The food here is good but a bit on the expensive side for a small suburban Chinese restaurant. The menu is huge and to be quite honest a bit overwhelming maybe a smaller, 'less family album' style would be a good start.Overall this is a good restaurant with good food, it's just a little different than most.

Dragon Cove is a large restaurant with plenty of seating, both inside and out. They have beautiful views overlooking the marina with floor-to-ceiling windows ; all tables have crisp white table cloths and very comfortable leather (?) chairs ; the floor is polished concrete, ceilings are high with fans and funky lights - it feels a bit bare and a little cold, but certainly has a clean, modern look. They have the usual fresh fish and lobster tanks and it is good to see the restaurant popular with Chinese, which is always a good indication. We ordered a Sim Sum Basket to share ; it consists of 6 (3 X 2) pieces, which were delicious, but costs $ 16.We then chose 3 mains : Duck stir fry, Sichuan Prawns and Fish fillet ginger & shallot. All dishes were very generous and absolutely perfect ; I would consider the Duck Stir Fry as the best I've ever had (most Chinese restaurants will include a lot of fat, bone & skin, but not here). We also got a side dish of Bok Choy and I think a charge of $ 16 for this small plate of vegetables is excessive. They also charge $ 3 per small bowl of white rice. Their wine list is extensive, but it is hard to spend less than $ 40 for any bottle (and they quickly go up to hundreds of $$).We ended up paying about $ 60 per person for lunch for the 3 of us. That is not exactly a cheap lunch, but we cannot fault the quality of the food, it was absolutely delicious. I guess you are also paying for the location, the exclusivity of Sanctuary Cove and the wonderful view. So we'll treat our next visit as a "special treat".
