Reviews on Cafe food in Parkwood, Gold Coast, Queensland including Daark Espresso, Cafe Gold Coast, Ground N Sound, Hot Shott, Cafe Alfons, Local & Co, Videre at Royal Pines Resort, Beaches Off Tedder, Eat Plus, Brew and Grind
Staff, one lady very nice (the old male needs a holiday or should stay back of shop). Atmosphere, suburban, dated. Nicknacks, poorly created signs on walls, cluttered benches. Menu, predictive, unassuming, lack of originality and uninspiring. Something special would make you want to go back, but missing that factor. Coffee, again, standard bog, nothing special, nothing to want you to say, letâs go back to that place that makes great coffee.Food, fresh. Made with care, suggested a cook, not a chef. Question to owners, guessing nice lady has overseas background, why not put two options of food from her background on the menu? Toasted sandwich is nice, but I can do that at home, give me a reason to want to come back.Pricing, good.

Being a little place out of its own and often have wonderful advantages like that fact it is open and not stuck in some horrible shopping centre. Staff welcoming, lovely selection of fresh made products on display (more came out while we visited), including devine salads and baked goods. Not your standard frozen/pre made crap at chain cafes.Selections for GF sand Vegan options on offer.Coffee, warm and filled with love. Made with care.Nice options to sit and relax. Thank you so much. The staff is friendly & polite. This cafe & bar is walking distance from the Carrington Court Apartments, Gold Coast. Our takeaway was toasted sandwiches which were very nice & enough ingredients. Our coffee was also very nice, were I would normally have 1/2 strength, there coffee was not strong.

Loved our high tea at Videre. I had prearranged special diet and wasnât disappointed (although I ordered gluten free vegan but was given gluten free vegetarian which is a big difference when you canât eat egg or cheese). But my partner switched a few things with me and that was all safe to eat. Cakes were great as was the tea and coffee. The view was absolutely to die for, one of the best views of the coast Iâve seen. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return!Dear Amanda, Thank you for your review of The Videre High Tea. We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed the view and high tea experience and will return to Videre for another visit. We look forward to welcoming you again soon. Kind Regards, The Videre Team.

Modern breakfast and lunch restaurant with great coffee. Also licensed.
Nice place for breakfast. Very busy cafe and unfortunately I had to wait for quite a while to pay for my food. Otherwise great.

Walked in just for some takeaway brekky and coffee and was impressed with the decor. Really funky place with music history throughout the cafe. The coffee was really nice. I had the bacon and egg roll which was really nice. I know itâs hard to go wrong with a bacon and egg roll, but it was surprisingly good. Definitely recommendThank you for taking the time to review us Noel. We are very happy you enjoyed our place

This fab little cafe serves food far surpassing the size of the venue. Donât think this is just a little suburban boring place cos it ainât. Although crammed. In among other food outlets once we discovered it there wasnât any thought of trying the others. Food generous in size, well priced, flavoursome, and above all really friendly service from the mainly kiwi staff. Everything was fresh and wholesome catering for all needs, gluten free, lactose free, vegos, all welcome

Went here for a long lunch and it was fantastic. It was warm enough to sit outside which was nice (they had heaters as well). The coffee was very good (I'm one of those super fussy coffee drinkers) and the salad was spectacular - full of roast veg and chicken. The ingredients were high quality and very fresh. Really loved it. The service was great also, not too invasive but there when you needed them.
