Very dull and dark ambience, no special food, very slow service and staff was very casual and not concerned. We did not understand why this place is so highly rated. The ambience itself killed it for us. Not a place I would recommend for sure. WiFi was extremely bad too.

The location had changed since our last visit but the music, ambience and crowd is even more markedly altered. They play energetic north Indian music (punjabi and hindi) which is suitable for sangeet. Go there if you are getting withdrawal symptoms from that variety of music. The food is passable and the views are good. I would recommend going elsewhere

This restaurant is the perfect place to indulge in an authentic Italian meal. Rustic pizzas baked in wood fired ovens constructed by an Italian from Napoli are the specialty of this restaurant. It also serves beef steaks and the finest selection of wines
We went especially to dine at mamma mia....but it seems the restaurant was not serving that day to outsiders...we were asked to sit at a restaurant downstairs where thy would serve the food......the other place was very noisy with kar-oke......and we were looking for a silent spot. The waiters were very corporative..... They asked us to shift to nearby cafe Rio where they brought us food...food as always was awsme...must try is Tiramisu for dessertsDear Guest,Greetings from Mamma Mia Ristorante Italiano and Pizzeria !First of all we would like to thank you for takingthe time out to write this review post your visit to have the Italian food from our Mamma Mia restaurant. We are extermely sorry that on the day of your visit, due to a private function, we were not able to accomodate you in the Italian restaurant and give you the total dining experience.Neverthless, we thank you for having given us a chance to serve you our truly Italian food from the same Chefs, who so passionately cook the food to make it taste as good as always. We are happy to learn that you liked the food (Especially the Tiramisu) and the service and the entire F&B Team thank you for your appreciation. Eaten here 4 times. One occasion i ordered Spaghetti Bolognese which was very poor and overpriced. Basically a bowl of pasta with little else! Other times ordered Pizza. Never found great pizza in Asia anywhere near european standards (difficult/expensive to get the right flour in fairness)but here they are pretty good and generously topped. Service is hit and miss here (its good when the place is empty) Last occasion was beyond a joke. I was sat in view of the oven & chefs 'working' ! Restaurant quite busy- they had a fair few orders on. . but would stop working every few minutes to play with their phones or chat! I couldn't believe it, laziness on i scale ive never seen! They would send an order & then just chill for 5 minutes or go for a smoke!!The table of 6 near me got their orders 1 by 1 over at least a one hour period!!!! I Waited over an hour. I reckon the dopey Chefs made only 20 pizzas in the 90mins i was there!!!!

Everything we had was good, especially the beef carpaccio, salmon tartlets and home-made mascarapone gelato. The owner Mario will make recommendations, just say yes to whatever he suggests, even the scarpetta (literally means little shoe for some reason but is actually freshly baked bread) at the end to mop up the olive oil and sauces on your plate. The chef is his wife Simona whom you will probably want to thank a million times during your meal. A very, very satisfying meal!

Italian Restaurant in a Indo-Portuguese house and garden of the Art Deco period. The Mediterranean taste meets the Asian nature and flavors. Oltremarino means: beyond the sea, a connection between East and West.
Real italian food! I’m italian, I knownit! It’s the first real italian restaurant we found in India, the food was delicious and the staff so nice. We had amazing bruschette and tagliatelle al ragù and pizza, everything was good, tagliatelle is homemade and really like the ones you can eat at home in Italy. Prices very very good. Definitely worth a visit or more, the location also is stunning, an ancient villa with magical inside and lovely garden. The two italian owners are special people, go visit, eat some good food and meet them, they choose the ingredients very accurately and you can taste is an high level of quality.

Authentic Italian Wood Fired Pizza and the Best Coffee in Town.
This place offers a good variety of food and prides it’s self on fresh ingredients. This was very evident in their tasty salads. However the star for us was the amazing wood fired pizzas. Loads of options to make the perfect pizza for all tastes. The staff were great and very chatty and could not do enough to help.

CLOSED FOR THE OFF SEASON REOPENS IN NOVEMBER Italian, French and Mediterranean food in Goa. Menu balanced between traditional european cuisine and original signature dishes by our italian chef Matteo
It looks different from all other restaurants in the area, full of plants and green, strange seats, and glass tables. Steaks salads and pastas are great and the menu original. There are not many tables and get full quickly.
