Things to do in Agonda
Right on the beach in front of the famous Snoopy Agonda rocks. Great sunset place serving all kinds of drinks and tasty food.
This little restaurant is tucked away right at the north end of the beach set back next to the river serves very high quality food, beautifully prepared .... I came here a year ago on my last night in Agonda and was disappointed I hadnât found it earlier... went again last night.... and it is still spot on with its food... itâs location might deter people because itâs a short walk away from the centre but... itâs worth it... It really is... will be going again before returning home... Thanks Royal Mariposa...

Saffron Sands Restaurant offers delicious and high quality international cuisine, friendly staff, excellent service, amazing views of the arabian sea, stylish and comfortable rooftop lounge, full service bar, and weekly live music.
Visited at about 7.30pm for dinner, it was pretty quiet and we sat upstairs and we're served fairly quickly. Sun had gone down by the time we arrived, but I guess the view is nice at sunset. There are some candlelit tables on the beach in front of the restaurant. Prices were reasonable and food was okay.

Jojolapa mianes welcome namste in nepal
We stayed here for 8 nights and it's an excellent, great value beachside location with accommodation in good sized bungalows either garden facing or they have three (numbers 101,102, or 103) which are beach facing. There are several a/c bungalows, the others have fans. All have a big 'open air' bathroom which actually has a hessian roof. The bar and restaurant area is a lovely outside space overlooking the beach. The staff are fantastic and great fun and really make you feel welcome. They will also help you fix any trips you may want to take, to the waterfalls, spice farm or a boat to nearby Cola Beach.

Beach Bumps ainât a fancy shack for dining but itâs clean and proper! The best we found in Agonda this year. The kitchen is immaculate and the chef produces fantastic, tasty food. Service from Lucky and co is efficient and charming. We had plenty of lunches here and highly recommend the SPICY HONEY CAULIFLOWER (awesome) and the MASALA CHIPS (wow!). Try them! (with a GARLIC NAAN!). Iâve written them in capitals so you donât forget. Oh and a large Kingfisher...We ate here one night, candlelit and the only table on the beach. Our curries, rice and jeera rice were perfect. We have a new friend in Lucky and canât wait to get back there next year.Highly recommended! Make an effort to walk up the lane, north end of the beach past Madhus and Serenity. Take a walk, you wonât be sorry.

We used to come here quite regularly for breakfast and everything we had was brilliant, tried eggs Benedict, healthy breakfast and Swiss breakfast and for the price they include juice and coffee which is just amazing value!Healthy breakfast was totally delicious with its mix of museli and fruit and a nutty texture, it's presentation was stunning. I will definitely be using this place as my regular breakfast venue in Agonda, the staff are really nice and the music is funky too.

Food is excellent and many good dishes, including the tandoori are made by the famous cook Rakesh (have been cooking the best food in Agonda for years!)Excellent service by all "the guys"!The Nepali team here will drag you in and let you feel like their family/best friends from the first moment. Riverside often has live bands and fire shows by Manu, one of the Nepali guys here. Te setting at the end of north Agonda is also nice with a little built scene over the river.GREAT so don't miss this one!!

Perhaps nowhere in Agonda not find so tasty, varied and wholesome food, as in our never empty restaurant. You will be pleasantly surprised by our prices are much lower than in neighboring cafes and restaurants and at the same time - consistent quality foo
Nice display of fresh fish, tiger prawns and large pink prawns grabbed our attention last night. Proprietor suggested going early to get a seat.So tonight we got there at 7 pm and got a table.Deciding to skip more Indian food (novelty wears off after a month), we plumped for SE Asian style. 4 tiger prawns were selected and I demanded of the owner how he recommended they should be cooked. His suggestion was to slap them on the bbq which I thought was a bad idea (30 secs too long and they would be ruined). Asked whether they could do them in sweet and sour to which he replied they could. Before we could complete the order he got distracted and disappeared with new customers for about 10 minutes. Having been sat for half an hour with no drinks or nibbles or anything he returned to take our rice, drinks and chicken&cashew nut choice.Food arrived about an hour after we first sat down. Chicken dish good, prawns in themselves were excellent but the sweet and sour was not accomplished. However not a great success but a welcome change and I dare say weâll be back for more tiger prawns perhaps in a garlic, ginger and spring onion stir fry!The bill came to a reasonable 1800 rupees (less than £20).Lost a star for being chaotic and totally disorganised.
