Very well done up restaurant. Good food....beyond the menu, advisable to consult chef...who is v obliging. Seafood sizzler was good. Recommended the stuffed calamar, prawn pulao, veg fugath and Goan caldeen. Beef chillyfry too was v good. At noon...they serve different thalis....fish/prawn/chicke/chinese...good fare.Nice restaurant for a family outing or birthdy celebration..the live music is value addition.Only drawback is that the service sometimes is v slow cos I guess the kitchen is down.

We arrived early evening after reading other reviews. It was very quite for a Friday. The Restraunt is set back off the main road and although not unwelcoming, it's a bit rough and ready compared to others in the area. The food was fine and cheaper than most.I think it may be better for breakfast but It's not the kind of place you might want to go to for a special occasion.

We called here for lunch in mid November and it was very quiet, no more than a handful of people in. The setting is great, slightly elevated position in an area of the beach that is not over populated with sun beds.We ordered a Caprese salad as a starter to share. When it arrived some 40 minutes later itâs construction was such that it must have taken all of five minutes to prepare. The mains were however the star of the show, both cooked in the tandoor, one fish and one chicken. Accompanied by a vegetable raita and two plain naan it was a veritable feast. We were in the restaurant for just short of two hours and whilst we have no complaints about the standard of food we were none the less perplexed by how long it took when the restaurant was very quiet. I dread to think what it would be like if all tables were occupied. If you are happy to sit calmly (as we did) you will not be disappointed with the food. Two other points to note are that the toilets have a flush and a hand wash basin, and secondly the restaurant DOES NOT accept credit card. This was the first beach shack which did not do so and we were taken by surprise. Fortunately we had enough money to cobble together the bill amount.I donât think we will return here since there is such a lot of competition within a short walk.

Anushka's restaurant at BPS Club Margao is the prefect place for someone looking for authentic Goan food! The fish thali here is quite popular and you find a lot of office crowd here at lunchtime! The pepper garlic of tongue is delicious!

Martins was highly recommended but unfortunately left us disappointed. The simplest of preparations were poorly done! The food was short of Palatable. We ordered King Fish as the Mains and it turned out to be under-cooked. Any good cook would never use the same heat or time for all King Fish. Clearly this was a large size fish and was served undercooked. The staff (Raju) was told repeatedly to bring non spicy FIsh curry with Goan rice or give an alternative if the curry would be spicy. He assured us repeatedly that the curry will not be spicy. We had overseas guests who are not used to Indian Spices and he turned in a curry with atleast five Green Chillies that we fished out. Further the rice was not Goan rice but steamed rice! When we gave the staff the feedback he did come back with the curry with less spice but by that time the meal was done and nobody wanted to eat any more of the poorly prepared food. I think the place tends to get really busy and this has made both the staff and the Kitchen complacent so the outcome is a lack of attention to preparation and a lack of attention to what is being ordered. I wouldn't recommend it or visit again! Unfortunate actually!Hello We are so sorry for this sad episode, appreciate your time to write this detailed feedback. We will investigate this very seriously & take corrective actions immediately for non-repetition of such lapses. Would be kind enough to share details of the time n date of your visit on [email protected]. It will help us to correct thing fasterRegardsTeam Martin's

Just so so food served with average zest. The big advantage is the location- heart of the busy city of Margao. Parking can be a problem.
