We ate here twice during our stay in Arambol. Great pizza and pasta, but the dessert was AMAZING- the best cinnamon ice-cream I have ever tasted <3
Hyper-local ingredients. Globally inspired cuisine. A natural ambience you'll find only in Goa. Only at Verandah.
Verandah is a beautiful experience for all kinds of reasons. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and getting better and the owners add more and more things. But of course the food is the centerpiece of it all. Too many things to love about it to list here but the highlights include locally-sourced, incredibly fresh ingredients that serve creative and carefully prepared continental AND Indian options. We had pizza, quiche, and cocktails that were better than anything we'd had in Goa before (and this was our sixth visit). The entire neighborhood in and around Ashwem is superb, but these guys have created something very special. Don't miss it.

When you walk into Suzies you feel the warmth... from the beautiful quaint Portuguese architecture and garden lit like a fairyland... you sink into those gorgeously designed chairs and are then treated to a journey of tastes. It is like you have been transported into different moments in Chef Suchint Dhillon’s life through her designer food. And of course, the cocktails by Mixologist’s Kanak Seth are the literal cherry on this cake! Must visit many times...

Our daily visits to Chia Lounge were one of our highlights of our stay at Morjim. Each day the buffet choices changed but the quality of the dishes remained consistently excellent. With direct access to a quite part of the beach, the location & views couldn't be any betterNamaste Denis, we really enjoyed having your group dine with us, happy to hear that you made the most of the beach views. Looking forward to welcoming you back with us soon.

The "Tavern" dining room, verandah & bar blends tradition with a modern touch that emcompasses Mediterranean, Goan and Indian flavours at the table. The signature menu, inspired and composed by Chris Saleem (Sublime, Morjim) is shaped by local, seasonal i
It’s a quaint little fort which has been converted into a heritage hotel. It’s located a bit far away from north goa and tucked right in between the Goa and Maharastra border. This place is closer to Querim or Keri beach in north Goa, but you need to cross over the backwater by a ferry to reach this place. This place is also accessible by road, for which you need to travel for 15 kms more. But we found the ferry ride to be more fun than the road journey although it was not more than 10 minutes. The restaurant is on the top floor of the fort and the fort is situated on a hilltop. The view of the coast line from the dining area is just mesmerizing. No amount of words can explain the view unless you experience it on your own.Owing to its location, exclusivity and off season, only one table was occupied when we reached here and thus got a sea facing table. The staff was extremely polite and helped us out with anything we asked, be it about the menu, the history and current state of the fort or directions in general. Most of the staff being local to the area could even suggest us places to visit around the fort.Coming to the menu, the spread is limited, as expected of a high end hotel. But, every dish in that limited menu was excellently cooked and served. Plus, the portions were more than sufficient for us. We had ordered one fish fillet and one fish curry-rice, both of which coincidentally had red snapper fish. The cooking style was authentic in both the dishes. The fish fillet had mild flavours stuffed with black olives in the right amount and was cooked lightly in olive oil. The Goan style fish curry tasted really delicious, in fact the gravy was tastier than the fish. Also, the bread that was served along with the fillet was the local Goan bread a.k.a Poiee bread with virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. One more observation we made was that, utmost care was taken in the presentation of the food.To conclude, I would agree that this place is on the costlier side, but it is worth every paisa owing to its view, service, food quality, quantity, and most importantly the taste.
