A chefs restaurant serving world cuisine in a contemporary set up.
visited this restaurant on 01/10/2019,faced a long wait for my food after placing the order, but was very impressed with the personalized touch of the team. They made up for the long delay with complimentary scoops of delicious ice cream, the food was a bit oily for my liking but still would like to visit again on my next trip.

Martins Restaurant Margao offers a unique dining experience wherein you can experience the best of international cuisine and also authentic Goan cuisine at value for money rates .Our constant endeavor at Martins Margao is to always offer something differe
Just so so food served with average zest. The big advantage is the location- heart of the busy city of Margao. Parking can be a problem.

On our first day we were all pretty tired, so wanted some quick refreshments and simple food in quick time. A bottle of Italian white went down like a treat and was reasonably priced. We all had pizza's all different and were great. Well worth visit, intact we ate there again at least two more times

Amigueiro the pool side restaurant is an ideal place to spend the evening, dining by the pool or in it with a fantastic ambience and excellent food
The restaurant is based onsite at the Alagoa hotel. The hotelâs breakfast is served by the restaurant and the other meals are chargeable by the restaurant. There was a very extensive menu catering for a varied taste for both vegetarian and non-vegetarians. In fact, over the few days, we had different dishes for lunch and dinner without having to have the same dish twice. The staff were friendly and the chef (Punjabi ) was more than happy to serve our nan bread the way we were used to having it in the UK.The restaurant had lots of different drinks at very reasonable prices. One could dine at the restaurant at a reasonable cost. The place was also frequented by locals as well.Definitely, recommend this restaurant if one is in the vicinity. Some of the food portions can be large so worth considering sharing some of the dishes when ordering.

Heard very much about Martin's down south and headed straight out to experience what is known as the best in town. I now start to wonder whether the stupendous reviews do live up to its mark over a period of time. There should be an annual review of such ratings to ensure they stand to it's rank and foodies like us get a fair deal of understanding of what we would be experiencing. We went on Oct 20th here to get the best of what Martin had to offer. I must say, their live music is what we enjoyed the most and they really made us dance and groove to their lively music...Hats off. Now coming to the food, I had the worst experience with one of thir captain named "Harinder". As a tourist place, you would expect a good understanding of the local cuisine and what goes into the making of the dish....especially when children's and families are with you. I was expecting they would patiently mention their speciality dishes and give suggestions. However, they were more in a hurry instead of listening to your needs and wants. For once we had to request 4 times to waiters and captain to provide side salads like slide onions, chilies and lemon wedges but it was like it felt on their deaf ears. We were almost finished when they managed to get it....such a frustrating moment for us.I again would like to request Martin's to see if they can ensure their Captains and staffs are courteous to customers since we only come from very far to experience the hospitality and politeness that it has to offer. We would only want to come back again given the positive experience and moments we want to take back every time. It surely has lot of areas to look for improvement. Consistency of service is important rather than legacy which of not will only become an history one day. We just don't want to talk about Martin's one day but enjoy their food everytime.Hope the management can make a note of this review and improve upon.HelloWe are so sorry for this sad episode, appreciate your time to write this detailed feedback. With respect to the service part and the particular individual you have mentioned, we would like to inform you that the said Captain has been suspended from his services with us from yesterday itself. Though we do take great care during the screening, selection & training of staff, sometimes we do come across such situations once they are onboard. We always keep a vigilant eye on new staffers and this particular individual had been warned and asked to improve upon after receiving similar complaints. (But as we don't have a hire & fire policy, we do give a stipulated amount of time to improve upon before taking any stringent actions)We are happy that you liked the ambience & LIVE music during your visit then & we would really like if you would come back and enjoy our cuisines & services. RegardsTeam Martin's
