The restaurant is based onsite at the Alagoa hotel. The hotelâs breakfast is served by the restaurant and the other meals are chargeable by the restaurant.There was a very extensive menu catering for a varied taste for both vegetarian and non-vegetarians. In fact, over the few days, we had different dishes for lunch and dinner without having to have the same dish twice. The staff were friendly and the chef (Punjabi ) was more than happy to serve our nan bread the way we were used to having it in the UK.The restaurant had lots of different drinks at very reasonable prices. One could dine at the restaurant at a reasonable cost. The place was also frequented by locals as well.Definitely, recommend this restaurant if one is in the vicinity. Some of the food portions can be large so worth considering sharing some of the dishes when ordering.

Pleased to see this popular family run Beach Shack has returned to the beach after an absence of a few years. It is now situated between Majorda and Gonsua Beaches, along side Pepsi Cola House, a short walk along the sand. We spent the evening here, firstly having a cold beer watching an amazing Goan sunset. This was followed later on with dinner, we had a lovely evening and enjoyed some delicious food.Also spent a number of days here using the comfortable sunbeds, soaking up the sunshine and being looked after so well by the staff in the shack and enjoying wonderful food.There is an extensive menu to choose lunch/time from, seafood and fish are specialities here.

Read the reviews and tried out Leda and it more than lived up to expectations. A wide ranging menu although we are eating Indian vegetarian food and thereâs probably 20+ options in this category alone. Both our dishes were incredible with just the right amount of spice and they came with breads that suit the food. The service staff are really well trained and have that little bit more polish and professionalism without coming across as stuffy or slow. Highly recommended for any visitor to the local area.

Excellent food!!!Thank you Trip Advisor for recommending this place...Please don't miss when you go to Goa.. It's a must go restaurant or you will miss something real authentic goan food on your trip which you will remember ..I have been ordering from Rita's Special Menu and it is real special food...We have been lucky to find this place try it for your selves you won't be disappointed...Pork Ribs ,Candid Prawns,Goan Curry, All Chicken dishes are excellent and delicious... Would definitely recommend this gem of a place

Landed this remote area trying to choose a place to dine on this rainy day...choose ignea over another one...no regrets..First time ever had a hot(warm) cocktail and went well on this rainy nite..The food was super..the apple walnut salad was awesome so also the mash potato that we ordered as accompaniment with the grilled food.The place even though open was not damp and has a unique way of serving the grill..I think every table has a centre opening where they set a lit coal grill into the slot and you then place your served skewers...for a few minutes before eating.Was quite unique, having been to quite many restaurants I had not seen such a set up...may be close to BBQ nation.Anyway throughly njoid the food even though the beef pieces were paper thin...could improve on this...looked too little on the skewer The deserts were awesome too ..white and brown chocolate fudge as was called ....very rich...order just enough....Hello Sparkie09, Thank you for the amazing rating. we are delighted to know that you loved the ambiance and food at Ignia. Our visit to Goa was made memorable by very professional and humble staff.All of them greeted us warmly while we entered the restaurant and when we left.The waiter and his service was best we ever had at any restaurant as he sounded like an ex army personnel. He was from Jammu - migrated to Delhi and probably was a retired army gentleman.Food is amazing- we tried paneer tikka, shahi murg , white sauce pasta and pasta salad on the other day.Ambiance is beautiful.I would like to reiterate that it was not the amazing food but best in class service that brought us back to this restaurant.The waiter also helped us choose the menu and was genuine enough to guide us to the right pointers proactively as we roam in Goa.If it isnât for the food it is for him that I would like you to visit the restaurant.

A lovely friendly and good value beach shack serving delicious food. Allowed to visit their kitchen which was spotless and well organised - seabass done in the Tandoor was particularly good. Very friendly and not at all pushy.
