Reviews on Seafood food in Arpora, Goa, India. Arpora is a village close to the North Goa beach belt, in India's tourism-destination state. Very famous for its night market, "The Saturday Night Market". Open during the tourist season, it is a colorful vast market consisting of people from around the state selling and showcasing their goods. Be it the musical mouth harps or mouthwatering food, the variety is vast.

We are open for breakfast /lunch / dinner. Or just sit at the bar or relax in our lounge chairs at the front of the restaurant for drinks and watch the world go by.
Very relaxing atmosphere with excellent food and service. The first time in 3 weeks I was tempted to not eat Indian Food as they have very good European options on the menu. Very good quality food although we felt it was overpriced compared to other place we ate during our stay. Always busy and very popular with Europeans.Thank you so much for your review greatly appreciated.

A nice comfortable place to hang out with friends. The service is good, fast and responsive. The food and even presentation is neat. The live music we could have done without, he was awful but kept at it without a break.

Our hotel had a shuttle that dropped guests off at the Arpora end of Baga Beach. As soon as you hit the beach, staff from the literally dozens of beach shacks tout for your business, all free sunbeds and promising great comfort in exchange for buying the odd drink, perhaps a meal or snack and maybe partaking in a neck massage or pedicure. A quick scan soon shows the more popular shacks and a quick look at the TripAdvisor best beach shacks on Baga leads you to the Shining Star. Needless to say it is also one of the busiest and although it became our go to shack on one occasion we had to go elsewhere because they had no sunbeds free. The sunbeds are a little crammed together but the staff will move the umbrellas to keep you in or out of the sun as you wish. The staff are very friendly and not at all pushy, the beds have clean towels and the food in the shack is very good and reasonably priced. We had what they call laffi rolls but others call Kathi Rolls and they were very generous portions (one would serve two for lunch). It was so busy you knew the food was fresh and although we didn't get back at night for the BBQ I was told that was also excellent by another guest. The beach is so long you need to find a shack that is close by to where you are coming on the beach so for this part of Baga I recommend the Shining Star.

Chef Candando, means the singing chef in Portuguese. Our very own Chef Kenny is just that. Blasting out great food alongside great songs by the likes of Frank Sinatra. He really has done it his way! Located on Anjuna Beach which boasts some of the best vi

Italian Restaurant in a Indo-Portuguese house and garden of the Art Deco period. The Mediterranean taste meets the Asian nature and flavors. Oltremarino means: beyond the sea, a connection between East and West.
Real italian food! Iâm italian, I knownit! Itâs the first real italian restaurant we found in India, the food was delicious and the staff so nice. We had amazing bruschette and tagliatelle al ragù and pizza, everything was good, tagliatelle is homemade and really like the ones you can eat at home in Italy. Prices very very good. Definitely worth a visit or more, the location also is stunning, an ancient villa with magical inside and lovely garden. The two italian owners are special people, go visit, eat some good food and meet them, they choose the ingredients very accurately and you can taste is an high level of quality.

Jamies is a cab ride from baga beach around 300 rupees. The menu is quite extensive and will suit all needs and tastes with traditional sausage and mash to a typical Goan curry. Our food was served very quickly, I had chicken curry, rice with cheese & garlic nan it was a perfect sized portion and hotness. (they ask how hot you would like it) My fellow traveler had prawn curry and they were as equally satisfied with their meal. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. they do a nice selection of cocktails but we shared a bottle of house wine @1900 rupess (In Goa wine is expensive in comparison to the UK) only downside for me personally was lack of ambiance maybe some back ground music would change that. We could hear every customers conversations.

A lovely Restaurant with nice clean Toilets and Premises. Excellent food and Service. Nice tasty food although quite spicy for some tastes so ask for mild if in doubt. Quite a busy place so may need to book in advance. Prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable.
