Things to do in Agonda
I stayed nearby so I can't comment on the rooms but the restaurant is excellent! I ate here several times and every meal was outstanding. The grilled Red Snapper was one of the best meals I've had anywhere. I don't understand the bad reviews regarding the staff. My experience was very pleasant. I found them attentive and friendly on my November 2016 visit. Evenings at this beach location, with candles and surf are unforgetable.
Had a lovely meal last night..the place has a great vibe and the lads can't do enough for you. Definitely recommend for a relaxed laid back evening meal. Thanks to Bikashu and the guys

We stayed here for 11 nights and had a lovely stay... The rooms were lovely and clean with hanging space, basket to keep things off the floor and lots of other space to put things in...There was a good sized square mosquito net over the bed and the bathroom and shower were very good...The food was also very good and any left overs were fed to the cattle outside...They also recycled bottles/ plastic and so also looking after the environment...The staff were always friendly and willing to help and always smiling...even when at times they must have been exhausted and fed up with us tourists! We spent the Holi festival with them and had a lot of fun...Thank you all for helping make our holiday special....We will be back!

Jojolapa mianes welcome namste in nepal
We stayed here for 8 nights and it's an excellent, great value beachside location with accommodation in good sized bungalows either garden facing or they have three (numbers 101,102, or 103) which are beach facing. There are several a/c bungalows, the others have fans. All have a big 'open air' bathroom which actually has a hessian roof. The bar and restaurant area is a lovely outside space overlooking the beach. The staff are fantastic and great fun and really make you feel welcome. They will also help you fix any trips you may want to take, to the waterfalls, spice farm or a boat to nearby Cola Beach.

Saxony agonda is located in south end of agonda beach and it has 20 beach huts all together , 8 are made of pine wood and 12 are made of plywood with sea view . Also it has a nice bar and restaurant with a nice chill out place . The view around is amaging
A step-up from the shacks that line the northern beaches of Goa, where you eat with sand between your toes, Saxony is a very Agonda creation, a beach restaurant, but with sun-beds and on-the-beach service. This it does well and, having lit upon Saxony and got our feet under the table, we enjoyed greatly and were very well looked-after! Wonderful Indian breakfasts with pickle and Aloo Paratha, or other healthy alternatives, happy noodley lunches, and good freezing-cold Indian beers. We couldn't fault the service or the food and, as I said before, the wonderful staff who looked after us and entertained and informed us!Thanks a lot for your valuable views.

Went to this restaurant twice because they do steaks. We had the Arabian nights' special steak, which is a fillet steak. It was cooked exactly to our spec and was most enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you want a nice steak go here.

We do very good food , best seafood food on the beach , nice cocktails, beautiful view of the beach and good music and we do best Indian, Chinese.,continental,Italian and Thai food
We used to come here quite regularly for breakfast and everything we had was brilliant, tried eggs Benedict, healthy breakfast and Swiss breakfast and for the price they include juice and coffee which is just amazing value!Healthy breakfast was totally delicious with its mix of museli and fruit and a nutty texture, it's presentation was stunning. I will definitely be using this place as my regular breakfast venue in Agonda, the staff are really nice and the music is funky too.

Food is excellent and many good dishes, including the tandoori are made by the famous cook Rakesh (have been cooking the best food in Agonda for years!)Excellent service by all "the guys"!The Nepali team here will drag you in and let you feel like their family/best friends from the first moment. Riverside often has live bands and fire shows by Manu, one of the Nepali guys here. Te setting at the end of north Agonda is also nice with a little built scene over the river.GREAT so don't miss this one!!

Avocado garden restaurant is a beautiful garden restaurant located in the premises of Agonda Palace Resort. We serve vegan, vegetarian and non vegetarian. We have good vegan options.
After eating delicious food on many occasions at the Avocado Garden restaurant, we found they also run cooking classes. My husband and I decided it was time to stop using cooking sauces and learn how to cook proper Indian food, like they serve in the restaurant. You can choose a time to suit, and the classes are held in a shaded, tranquil setting overlooking the river and palm trees. The classes are taught by Chef Ramesh, one of the three brothers who run the restaurant and Agonda Palace resort. We learnt to cook 6 vegetarian dishes, all of which are eaten as you go along. The first dish was a garlic & ginger paste, which is used in many of the recipes, followed by a delicious roasted tomato chutney. Next we learnt palak paneer and jeera rice. We were then taught the masala sauce which is the base for every Indian curry. This was used in the next dish of aloo gobi, which was absolutely delicious. Finally we made chapattis and used the same dough for the last dish of aloo paratha. The whole course lasted 3 hours and we thoroughly enjoyed making the meals. Ramesh is easy going and makes the class fun.We will be going back to England with our recipes, determined to try them out, and hopefully our dishes will taste as good as they did in India. I thoroughly recommend the class if you fancy brushing up on your Indian cookery skills, or just want to try something different in Agonda.

HOW TO FIND US: After Agonda church turn right and after approx 1,5km you will start to hear good music and see a black bar on the road - that's US!
We visited The Roadhouse a few times as the food and service here is amazing! The people working here are so friendly, they really look after you and treat you like friends! We came back here as the food is so good we wanted more, the tandoori dishes are delicious and reasonable price! The restaurant has a relaxed ambience to it, such a nice place to come for food!
