the ambience is a bit run down from what I remember. They couldn't get one of the items I wanted as they weren't able to get raw papaya for 2 days. The tum yum soup tasted like it came out from a packet though the chef said he made it fresh. If it was fresh, the recipe needs a drastic remake. The main courses were passable though but nothing I would go back for. The menu itself looks like it is falling apart, the decor is tacky. The hotel doesnt seem particularly invested in this restaurant, so why should you. Best avoided unless you have no options but that is unlike to happen in Goa.

We decided to visit this favourite restaurant during lunch hours, when they normally do brisk business for their buffet lunch. We were with relatives and opted to stick to the a-la-carte menu.We ordered our drinks and then requested for fried chicken wontons and a portion of steamed chicken suimai. Both starters were very good. For the mains, we chose the Crabmeat fried rice and the chilli garlic noodles with prawns and chicken. Both dishes met expectations. We also ordered the Mahlak Lamb which was tender and delicious and the Braised chicken sapo. This were well prepared too.Definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants in the Panjim area.

We visited Bobbys shack numerous times whilst in Candolim. Bobbys came highly recommended to us so we gave it a try and wow!!!! The staff were very friendly and chatty the food was magnificent the chicken wraps are amazing. At night it was lovely sat watching the sun go down with a beer on the beach. We were a family of eight , we had four grandchildren with us our son and his partner. The kids loved to play with Bobbys family so everyone was happy. Itâs such a lovely relaxing shack Bobby is a lovely guy and his staff are lovely too, nothing is too much trouble for them, they even organised our taxis as the taxi rank guy kept trying to rip us off. If thereâs anything to complain about itâs the 9.30pm closing time, but that was because of the election. We had an amazing time and if we go back to Goa Iâll make sure we get a hotel within walking distance of Bobbys shack. We loved it.

Closed for monsoon from June 1, 2018 to october 1, 2018... open during tourist season when the monsoon has stopped
We came to Alex shack after hearing all the wonderful reviews. We can not understand why possibly just loyal customers who have not tried else where . The food was terrible the worst we had in any shack, atmosphere lacking with no welcome although the regulars were being attended to . The shack itself is very plain nothing pretty about it to make you want to go either. Was disappointed after the hype we had heard and a few other couples we met in candolim also said same that they had visited and wouldnât return this year . Was a shame. Joanneg184Thank you for your review. However I'm astounded at how you can so easily criticize anything especially opinions of my valuable customers who have come and enjoyed themselves at my shack. They came with no expectations and loved it. And far as the kheema masala and Naan is concerned... I can understand that maybe it wasn't as per your expectations but what I can't understand is when rocky asked you how your meal was, you said that the portions were big. At that time you could have easily said that you didn't like it. My guess is that if you had told us the truth then, you wouldn't have been able to complain about it in your review. You are perfectly entitled to your opinions and to voice them. However I feel that it's not in good taste to generalise about opinions of others regarding my shack. Whether a customer is new or a regular, we always look after them well. It really is a shame that you visited my shack to judge rather than enjoy. All I aim to do is help my customers enjoy their long awaited holiday to the best of my ability... nothing more than that and nothing less.

A fine dining restaurant located in Miramar, serving authentic Thai and Oriental cuisine made with fresh produce from their very own farm.
Have been a regular to Thai n wok but quality of food deteriorated since few visits. Had ordered glass noodles salad and rice n stir fried veggies. Very basic stuff but overall taste very average . Hope they will improve and be the high quality restaurant they were .Sawadee ka Redschumi, we apologize that your experience was less than ideal, and we hope you'll give us another chance to prove ourselves. We look forward to your next visit :)

Visited the Tamari at the Taj Vivant last evening.... easy drive in and parking. We were warmly welcomed by the manager Rajat Seth and all the staff of the restaurant .Interesting starters of pickled cabbage and sweetened crisp lotus root. Also sweet chilli peanuts to further wet our appetite We each had a soup ... prawn wonton and prawn manchow , followed by steamed crab dumplings.... very fresh and tasty. Our main dish was their pan fried chicken & veggie noodles delicious too....Stuck to their pan-Asian menus and did not try their Japaneseâs cuisine, perhaps will try sushi next time.Have to mention their customer service... it was excellent...Chitesh was attentive and efficient and so were all the other staff...A very enjoyable experience indeed... recommended !!!Dear Gillian, We would like to thank you for sparing your valuable time to review us and we are pleased to note that our services measured up to your expectations. We look forward to welcoming you at Vivanta Goa, Panaji again.Thanking you and assuring you of our best of attention and services at all times.Kind regards,Jaikant ShroffGeneral ManagerVivanta Goa, Panaji

Goa's only Restaurant to eat the way they do in China. For the connoisseur of Chinese food this is the place to be. The eclectic collection of appetizers and a wide selection of Chinese cuisine's viz. Szechwan, Hunan, Shanghai, Cantonese conjured-up by ou
It has been at least 20 years since I last visited this restaurant. At that time it was under different management. Good to see that the food standard is still the same as before. Of course, the menu has changed but the food is still pretty good. The place itself is not easy to find as it is located in one of the back streets of Panjim. Parking is on the main road. No valet parking. The tables are a bit too close together which is a bit of a downer. One is almost brushing elbows with the people at the next table. Service was quit slow - maybe because the restaurant was full. We ordered the Dragon Soup and the Crab Meat Soup. Both were good with generous amounts of crab meat. We also had a prawn and beef starter. Both were good though prawns were a bit limited. The sweet and sour pork with Burnt Garlic Rice was also tasty. However, the noodles were totally tasteless and forgettable. All in all, we enjoyed the meal and would not hesitate to visit again.

We usually visit once while in goa, it is on the expensive side. The service is always good the waiters polite and informative. The restaurant is peaceful with lots of space between tables. The food as ever was excellent. A vast menu which takes a bit of reading. You never feel rushed. A lovely place.
