This is our second visit to Laxmi Bar & Restaurant in Morjim and this time we went there for Dinner. Their advantage is that they are open late (up to 11 pm) for Dinner and the location is good, on the main Morjim-Ashwem Road. At the recommendation of the Waiter, we ordered Prawns Fry and Surmai (King Fish) Curry with Rice. While the Prawns were Fresh, the masala and preparation was not too good. The Surmai in the Curry however did not appear to be very fresh & hence was not very enjoyable. I think this place is better for Lunch, as then you get everything fresh, particularly the Seafood. Frankly, we were a bit disappointed this time, as we did not enjoy our meal too much. It is still a very popular place, particularly for local Goan Cuisine and is well patronized.

This restaurant looks like it was an old bungalow that has been converted. Very cozy & nice. The food was delicious & very reasonable too. The service was good too.

Bluebird is located near our hotel, 5 min by walk, that’s why we decided to have a lunch here. The atmosphere was very pleasant: we’ve seated upstairs. Also there is WiFi inside. As for cuisine, it was just fantastically tasty! We liked everything we’ve ordered! Soup, crab termodor, salad, masala and potato, cooked with zira (it was sooo yammy) Thank you!

We tend to go here all the time now and we are in Goa every year, The food is excellent - even better in 2018/19 season. Fabulous presentation. The waiters are great, genuinely friendly. The swimming pool is a bonus if the sea is rough. Toilets are the best in Goa.Can't fault it...love it.

Pleasant looking restaurant and went here because of the reviews, but made the mistake of ordering chicken. A bad bout of food poisoning ensued. My friend ordered the fish, which was tasteless. Wouldn’t recommend!

Right on the beach. You get everything at your doorsteps. The managers are polite and soft-spoken. The beach beds are private. It is almost like your private beach.fantastic hospitality. Points to improve. Rooms and linen have scope for Improvement in terms of housekeeping.Generator backup can be added.Yoga sessions can be added

The food quality was quite sad. We ordered tandoori chicken, which was undercooked. Also ordered a king fish masala but the fish was not fresh too. Service too was lacking - we asked them to get the chicken first so that we can enjoy the starters before the main course, but we got it along with the main course. All in all it was a disappointing evening.

Recommended for lunch as you have a nice beach ambiance.Lovely restaurant & very friendly staff. We were there early on Sat eve, 8.30pm.We were distinctly uncomfortable- loud, very cold & dark. Not our ideal dining conditions- maybe we are getting old!The Prawn dumpling was actually very good as was the mixed rice but the green curry was the least authentic we have ever had- straight from a packet.
