A different dining experience to be had at After the Tears. Decor and crockery are very authentic of Poland and a great selection of Polish dishes to eat. And a mega choice of Vodka of all types of flavours. Indeed the Vodka section takes up most of the menu. The candles are also pretty unique with a 10 year build up of wax overflow. A place well worth checking out.

Make sure you come to this terrific little restaurant hungry because not only is the food deliciously authentic Hungarian cuisine - the serves are massive! You wonât ever starve, thatâs for sure. This little unassuming shopfront restaurant has long been a favourite of one of our group, and at her request we went there. From a entree of crumbed mushrooms that was enthusiastically shared to yummy mains of goulash, stuffed peppers, and bean soup - finishing off with shared desserts of apricot dumplings (Just had to have dessert , even though we were already full!!) - all the food was fantastic. Friendly service, moderate prices, byo too I think as I saw someone bring in a bottle. Itâs the sort of place that can easily become a family favourite, as I know it already is for many in the area. Iâve been there about 4 times now and Iâll go again for sure. It used to be called âElisabethâs Little Hungarian Restaurantâ and many still do call it that, as Elisabeth is still the one in charge and main chef - that makes it all the more authentic. Itâs not huge, so make sure you reserve a table, especially Friday and Saturday nights. But go!

As 2 sisters with Ukrainian heritage, we were brought up eating pierogi made by our Baba. Whenever I visit my sis in Melbourne we try to have a meal here to get our fix! Itâs definitely a place you need to book as they are always full. The place is quite quirky with mismatching furniture and random decorations. The menu has pages and pages of different vodkas - every flavour you can imagine. This time we finished with vodka dessert menus and they did not disappoint! I had the chocolate martini and could have easily drunk a few more as it went down so easily! We will be back!

Experience the delights of Russia and Eastern Europe with traditional fare and the culinary extravagance of the Tsars. The restaurant is named after the famous main boulevard of Saint Petersburg, Nevsky Prospekt - home of our Chef and a magnificent city fu
Yearning to try Russian cuisine, we finally made it happen after hearing good things about Nevsky.Quite few can come close to.producing flavors that are synonymous to their country of origin and it's safe to claim that @nevskyrestaurant is one of those rare gemsThanks to our 9 months stay in Russia, our taste-buds were able to relish and register flavors from the cuisine that has culminated from fusing Bit of European and Asian Cuisine into what's locally grown and bred with subtle flavors.Ordered Russian Mule, Russian Vodka and an Apple and Cinnamon based Vodka drinktogether with Strogonoff, Fricassee (obviously, have been missing Russian version of Julianne), Potato and Caramelised Varenikee (Dumplings), Sosiski and Chicken KutletyIt's hard to not love anything that's quite close what we have relished in Russia (I'm sure you are tired of reading this ) but Sosiski (perfectly cooked yummy sausages served with caramelised onions) and Stroganoff (Veal cooked in cream and served with Buckwheat) were easily the Dish of the daySimply binged on Julienne aka Fricassee and it was quite close to second best.Hospitality, very friendly and charming. Pricing, just perfect for the portions and taste.Vegetarians / Vegans have just one or two options so don't expect muchCocktails were Superb!!Definitely visiting.
