Professional service, delicious cuisine made of fresh products and accomodated with fresh herbs (from the terrace). AC in the restaurant, well appreciated in summer ! The house even offered two coffees, so we would definitely recommend this restaurant. We wish we had tasted other meals (like pizzas ... or frogs !)

Best Albanian food near Gjirokaster, Gjirokaster County, Albania
With more than 12 years of experience we offer you the best pizza in town, directly with the best quality at an affordable price. We are waiting for you to enjoy.
We can recommend the mixed Appetizers. They are all very good and you get many different ones. Especially the filled wine leaves are great. Considering this is not Italy the pizza is also good. It has a thicker crust. One pizza and one appetizer was enough for two very hungry people. The staff is very friendly and provides good service.

Top 10 Greek food in Gjirokaster, Gjirokaster County, Albania

We'd already eaten in various Albanian restaurants before we dined in Kodra. Albanian food is absolutely delicious and is enjoyed best in the least prepossessing places in my experience.Kodra is a professional operation and service is slick but the food, whilst good, was not the best we ate in the country. On the night we dined the tables were filled by tourist parties in the main. However, once the tourist numbers (including us) left, a growing band of, presumably local, guys gathered to drink raki and sing folk songs to an accordion. These guys favoured either a leather jacket or a shiny suit with the jacket worn "off the shoulder". There was some coming and going amongst their number too. Goodness knows what was going on ;-).Never too raucous, they accepted our gift of a drink for the musician and in response sent tea, beer and wine to our table. I won't lie - it was a great evening!
