My husband and I turned up at the Ritz Carlton Hotel looking very hot and bothered, and very touristy. We had a really nice welcome and were treated as though we were dressed in our finest clothes. At the Bar'Oro, we were shown to a seat by the window and had a lovely view of the Nile. Excellent service and a thoroughly pleasant few hours. This place is lovely. Always quiet which is a shame as the food is great, the pool overlooking the Nile is relaxing and the bar clean and tidy.Chilled music while you sit in a comfy chair outside or the bar inside.There are no flies or bugs which makes sitting outside a pleasure.Staff are friendly, will happily change items on the menu as needed.I ordered the Charcoal Grilled Chicken, Tawook and Kofta. They were all perfectly cooked, served hot and they were happy to serve a range of lovely grilled veggies with it as opposed to rice or fries.Have eaten here twice now and would recommend it for the charcoal grilled food. Warm cozy atmosphere. People are very friendly. Rice pudding is extremely delicious. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed afternoon coffee and pastries in the week we stayed in Cairo. The quality of cappuccino here is superb !! Iâve been using this place off and on while Iâm staying at the Holiday Inn. Itâs a comfortable place to sit and pass the time. The coffee is nice. Also had food and wine there. The waiters are not intrusive, pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately people are allowed to smoke inside (even though there is an outside area) which, coming from Europe I find off putting.

Whenever I go to the Ritz Carlton I take my breakfast at Culina. It has a wide variety of tasty Egyptian and International food. The chefs are really professional in preparing the Egyptian traditional food like fool mudamas, falafel, fetir and others. The smiling chef at the egg station would prepare the best omelette ever. The staff are really helpful and would like to help and support especially Chef Sameh ElSayed who guided me through all the stations. Chef Sameh prepared for me a tasty foul mudamas plate with fresh oven bread that was really different. Came here for a short stay and I was amazed,from the excellent service to the magnificent rooms/restaurant with an awesome River Nile view. If you're planning to visit Egypt this is the place to be.I'm definitely coming coming back here.

Very nice pub, great service and especially by Reda, who is very friendly and always smiling and gives the best service. Cool shows and entertainment and every night there is a band playing or karaoke night or salsa night so its always entertaining. Highly recommended for a drink, and good music and chilling evening with some fiends.
