Bagel shop/cafe/restaurant serving full breakfast, brunch and full lunch, early dinner.family friendly.
This place was a total shock!! I was raised in New York City (not my fault) so I was exposed to real New York Deli's all the time. I thought I was back in Brooklyn when I walked in here!! Folks - you need to check this place out - the menu is incredible, as is the food & the coffee!!! As luck would have it - Gillette is where we fly into for our latest book on N.E. Wyoming - so we'll have a few more opportunities to eat here!! Seriously - try it and you'll no doubt be hooked!!

We googled restaurants in Gillette on our way into the area...The Coop had good reviews so we decided to try it...from the little corn muffin appetizers, served complimentary, to the half chicken my wife had and the lettuce wraps I had...it was very good, and we’d be sure to come back if we take I90 through this area again. We’re so glad we stopped in here for dinner! Don’t miss this place!

This is an extremely colorful restaurant inside and out. You will not go wrong eating here. Prices are reasonable too. We walked across the road from our Hampton Inn, and found this lovely restaurant.
Service was prompt and friendly. We started out with their tasty salsa and chips. We then ordered the “Queso Fundido” dish which comprised of melted Mexican ranchero cheese and topped with spicy Mexican sausage, Chorizo. It was definitely tasty.
My wife enjoyed the Chicken Fajitas. I found the Steak Fajitas to be extremely tasty. There were plenty vegetables in the dishes. There was no question we were amply satisfied.

The Prime Rib Restaurant & Wine Cellar offers a fine but casual dining experience to patrons in Gillette, Wyoming, and surrounding areas. Founded in 1983 by Ed & Phyllis Vanscoy, The Prime Rib is currently owned and operated by Ken Barkey. Ken was the manager since 1983 and bought the restaurant from Ed & Phyllis in 1991. After an extensive renovation in 2008 that added a state of the art 10,000 bottle wine cellar and private meeting & dining space the property became The Prime Rib Restaurant & Wine Cellar. We have a large comprehensive menu that provides guests with something from “old school” Chicken Fried Steak to Signature aged steaks, chicken dishes, pastas, fresh fish and our specialty, the Slow Roasted tasty and tender Prime Rib as well as an extensive dessert list. As an upscale yet casual restaurant, The Prime Rib provides top-quality wines from all over the world. Bottles are kept in a state-of-the-art, glass-enclosed wine cellar located in the center of the 10,000 square-foot restaurant. There is a great variety of wines starting at under $20 per bottle. Wines are also available “to go” at retail prices. Most of all we hang our hat on our people. We take pride that many of our staff has been here 10 plus years with many at over 20 years of service. We value our staff as our greatest asset because they take care of our customers and they do it well. Our belief in the saying that: “good food does not survive bad service” is a staple in our philosophy that has enabled us to thrive in all economies since 1983. Please join us and let us serve you. Cheers! Ken Barkey & Wyoming’s Best Staff
We didn't want the usual chain restaurants, so after reading reviews on this one we decided to try it out, we were not disappointed! My husband had the sandwich cut prime & I tried their sirloin pepper steak, both cooked just how we ordered and so good! I tried their potato cheese soup as well which I believe could be addicting! Our server, Tony, was wonderful! Very attentive and friendly. Will definitely go back next time we're in Gillette.

I stopped here for a quick bite before checking into the hotel. Bar setting that serves food. The burrito was OK, I had the chicken, it was pretty good. The salsa and beans, not so much- I'm not sure what was up with the salsa because it's hard to mess that up. It came with coleslaw too and that was pretty good.

Burgers ok and wraps. Wifi is there but doesn't work with new phones. I ask who has old phones and travels a lot. Reply was ya it's not good. Food was fine and would return after trying other establishments in the area.

We have ate here a number of times and have always had great service. They have two seating options either at the Hibachi or in the dining area. The Hibachi was great and the chef that came out had a lot of fun with the guests. The dining area is beautiful with a huge water feature. I would recommend this place to anyone as a great place to have dinner.

great roadside eatery that makes it easily accessible for a quick bite to eat traveling along the interstate. little overhead to worry about as it has outdoor seating/eating, or take it to go, instead the focus is placed on the smoked BBQ goodness.
burnt ends were very good, but they could allow more burning/caramelizing of the meat to add the nice crunch like KC ends.
portions are perfect, not too much and definitely not too little.
all there homemade sauces were very good.
highly recommend!

We are a family friendly restaurant. We were named Wyoming's Best Barbeque, and offer full service catering, carry out, and of course dine in. We have a great selection of tap beers along with a full bar.
Very good salad bar with several choices. We had a party of 6 with 4 very large people and I asked for table seating and they accommodated very quickly and gave us ample room. Everyone was very happy with their meals and cleaned their plates! I had the smoked prime rib and enjoyed the smoke flavoring through out the meat. Pokeys is a little pricey but you get a lot of food!
