I stopped there during a day tour for a drink and to see the view from the top. This is a cute Resto with a charming atmosphere and of course known for the view. They have various beers and various items on the menu. Its on the top of the little town and if you are in Holguin, Try to get to visit this little town and go for a bite here.

I was recently on a tour and our group had lunch here. The restaurant itself is tucked away in a neighborhood and the design lends privacy that takes you back in time.
The food was traditional Cuban with fresh ingredients. Located near the sea, all the seafood was fresh and a wide variety from crab, fish, clams, and lobster in a delicious Paella (seafood stew). Just around the dining table was a raised bed, organic garden, so the salad and all the veggies were excellent and tasty.
Around the restaurant are relief murals depicting the original indigenous natives, " La Cueva" hence the name of the restaurant.

Walking around Gibara looking for a paladar we found La Tinaja run by a woman known as
"La China". What a find! She served us lunch for four. When she brought put the food we thought it might be too much. At the end of he meal nothing was left. Shrimp, rice, salad
and homemade plantain chips. It was so simple but oh sooooo good and so inexpensive.

Wow, such great food and great presentation. Cleanest place we ate in on our trip. Fresh paint.
They had these homemade chips from something like a sweet potato, whole platter of 'salad' (cucumbers, tomato, cabbage). If you would like to try turtle meat (very tasty) you have to ask for it. Worth it!
Eight of us had a really nice lunch for $50 CUC.

We stopped here during a jeep safari for dinner and drinks - the meals were very good, not light on quantity either with a starter, main course and dessert that ensured that you were filled up ready for the next part of trip. Drinks were good and also very reasonably priced. The service by the waiters was very good with ours spending time trying to educate me in Español. Toilet facilities were also better than previously encountered.

Casa colonial de estilo neoclásico, situado en el centro de la ciudad, con una exquisita comida criolla y una refrescante bebida cubana. Te va a encantar mi lugar debido a el espacio acogogedor y familiar que presenta.
