Home to some of the most significant historical sites of the 20th century, Berlin is a bustling international destination. A large city, many of Berlin's neighborhoods were in fact once independent towns. They were cobbled together to form the "Great Berlin" in 1920, and their town centers still reveal elements of this era. Today, nothing is more important to a Berliner than his or her "Kiez" (neighborhood) and the "Kiezleben" (life in the neighborhood). From the loud, wild, artsy, and young streets of Neukolln to the family-friendly avenues of Prenzlauer Berg to the quiet and sophisticated corners of Charlottenburg, Berlin's neighborhoods have something for everyone.

Absolutely fantastic place to eat Vietnamese food. It had a busy, bustling atmosphere. People queuing out the door. Staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. Food was perfect. Lots to choose from. Good choice of vegetarian dishes. Loved it. A must in Berlin.

Great food within an authentic Viet restaurant. The dishes were tasty, especially the roast duck and the service was good as well. It's not as centrally located as others but they have better food and not that expensive (I guess). Will try again when back in Berlin.

Lots of choice, fast meal preparation, close to the Alexanderplatz. Very big portions - had a great dish combining fresh (lemongrass) and spicy (garlic, chilly) with a mix of vegetables and meat (chicken, beef, prawns). Taste was great! Kids lowed the sugarcane juice!

Our first day in Berlin was spent sightseeing it rained most of the day so after reading a few reviews we headed for the Co Chu, had to get an Uber Cab as it was raining, We were early and they were busy so had to wait a bit for a table but although raining it was still quite warm so we sat out on the covered pavement and Enjoyed a G&T. After a short while we were shown to our table, the place was small but cosy with a lot going on, you could see the chefâs cooking, we studied the menu and ordered our starters and mains and a bottle of wine and waited for what seamed like an age, I thought we may need a second bottle of wine to accompany our food as we were getting through our first bottle while waiting. Our waiter noticed we hadnât got any food so went over and shouted at the chefâs shortly after some food arrived no starters just our mains so we tucked in, half way through our mains the starters arrived along with apologies from our waiter, my dish was tasty but not exceptional but my wife had ordered a noodle dish with chicken and thatâs all she got, soft noodles in broth with a few slices of chicken floating about ! no sign of any sliced vegetables or the herbs and spices associated with Vietnamese street food.I dare say there are better Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin but if ever your in London try âCay Treâ in Dean Street just off Shaftsbury Avenue.Dear Guest,We apologize for your bad experience and that the dishes took time to arrive. Although our restaurant often is busy, that is no excuse to serve our guests food that lacks the quality of our standards, nor to let you wait for the starters. We are grateful for your elaborate review, it has been forwarded to our staff. As we take every feedback to our heart, we would be happy if you come back to visit our restaurant again, so that we can prove that we truly are one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin - just book a table in advance, so you won't have to wait outside in the rain again. :)Kind regards, the Co Chu team

Fresh, flavoursome food. Plenty of choice for vegetarians. Had summer rolls and red curry with tofu and seasonal vegetables. Stunning, tasty, spicy but not too spicy. Lovely table , overlooking street on a gorgeous warm evening. Friendly and welcoming staff. Efficient service would absolutely recommend!

The food was great. Service was also good. The prices are OK for a restaurant such as this. We went there upon our friends' suggestion during our holiday in Berlin. Apparently the place is run by the owners and they are very friendly people. One can also see that they enjoy what they are doing and I think this creates a difference. If you like this type of food (Asian, Vietnamese...sorry I'm not an expert), I think you should try this place, for the interesting atmosphere and friendly service if nothing else.

We have vegetarian leaning party member, so we were looking for a restaurant experience with some interesting meatless items. After a long session of trip advisor searches and lackluster google searches, 2 of us set off, and decided to try it, though with several âI donât caresâ, and some suspicion. Wow a new favorite is born. For the small plates, share them, get 3-4 each person and some white rice. So good.We tried the following, and in favorite order: 3 - Fried crunchy, with a fantastic sauce. (sauce is not hot chili.) We wanted to order more and skip dessert.11 - Think breaded sesame chicken. These too were on the want more list.14 - Spring Roll with peanut sauce.16 - Dumplings with a nice soy sauce base.19 - Tofu Stirfry. Better like lots of fresh peppers and veggies.10 - This will be a bit hot a for many. If you like lots of wasabi, like I do you, you will be just fine.It was packed until after 9. We only waited 10 minutes, but a reservation would have been much better.

Chose this restaurant for last night of our marathon weekend trip to Berlin. Chose as not far from hotel in Ostbahnhof and from the excellent reviews and the interesting menu. Monday night but very busy and had to wait a few minutes for a table - no problem as staff were so polite and friendly. When seated the staff were very attentive and helpful. The place has a lovely feel about it, a buzz of conversations, people talking to each other! Not as in England just looking at their mobile phones. The food was delicious, vegetables so fresh and we all enjoyed the experience enormously. And so reasonable. Thank you to all the staff, inside and outside the kitchen for a great evening. We walked back to the Hotel past the East Side Gallery - a great way to see it by night and few people, a great end to our evening.
