We had a large group here on a Friday night from 5 - 7. They were ready for us! The service was excellent! And the appetizers are all $5 during Happy hour. Coconut Shrimp was excellent. Drink prices were reasonable. Many also like the peel and eat shrimp.

4,500 square foot Mexican restaurant opened its doors on January 16th. Pueblo Maya is located in the Buford Village across from the Buford Community Center. The restaurant serves authentic Mexican food and drinks in a warm, festive atmosphere. General Man
Never have I used the words âblandâ and âMexican cuisineâ in the same sentence, until now. From the prime location to the lavish interior of Pueblo Maya in Buford one would expect to see really great things coming from the kitchen. However to my utmost disappointment that is not the case. My Mexican go to...Chilaquiles. The chips should be swimming in melted cheesy goodness and the chicken smothered in salsa. Letâs just say that the lack of both left these left nothing more than a dry unflavored pile on my plate. And when the tacos your friend ordered are only described as âworse than Taco Bell,â you know that you will never come back here again. There could never be a redemption. It is a shame because rent alone for the location has to be pricey and if the food isnât up to par this place will go down as just another Mexican restaurant that couldnât figure it out!

We usually sit at the bar but we brought some friends so we were seated at a table and glad we were. Our Server Anna was outstanding, funny and friendly. The salmon was one of the best I have had in a long time and my wife ordered the filet which you didnât need a steak knife to cut it. Good atmosphere and location! Thanks so much for your thoughtful four star review! Anna is one of our best and we will be sure to pass along your kind words. Thank you also for the compliments on the salmon and the filet. We look forward to serving you again soon!

We had lunch here early on a Friday and had the place to ourselves! I was surprised because lunch was delicious! My daughter had pasta and I had a pizza and both were just exceptional. We were in and out quickly and our server was very nice. I would definitely return!

Small town grill and bar serving fresh foods in a casual atmosphere. Liquor, beer and wine available.
We joined friends for lunch and what a lunch! The menu has something for everyone's taste, including "healthy items" if you want to stick with your diet. We each had the salads, mine the grilled chx with cranberries, pineapples and walnuts. My husband had the sesame chicken salad and both were delicious! Our friends had the French Dip sandwich with french fries and it was awesome as well! The menu has burgers, nachos, wings, wraps, Monte Cristo and grilled cheese - very extensive menu. Our service was great, food is very reasonably priced and we have found a new "favorite lunch place". Will have to try it for dinner as well. For sports fans, there are TVs everywhere! Glad we found this place and will go again!

This place was great! We had the wings, Greek salad with shrimp, Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese and buffalo cauliflower. All were great. The only this I would change is the lettuce choice on the salad. Too bitter and no enough crunch. The pretzel was a stand out. Agree with the table lighting not being the greatest choice. Our server, Gabriel, was great!! We will be back for sure.

This place is terrible. This is not because of the live acts. They get some good bands to play there. Nor is this for the drinks. I don't remember having a problem with them. The staff and ownership of this place are terrible and low class. I was at this place when a man decided to sucker punch me because earlier in the night I had told him to stop bothering my wife. Instead of helping me the staff tried to hide the perpetrator and treated me very rudely. I was bleeding and they refused to clean it up and made my wife clean up some of the blood off of the bathroom floor! I later called the manager to discuss this issue and she was not rude at first. She acted as if she would like to help but there was not substance to it and no assistance was given. Furthermore she threatened me with legal action. I would rather drink muddy water out of a pond then go to this place again.

First thing you notice is how big this place is. It has at least two separate areas one a normal size sports bar and a adjoining bar that is huge with one of the biggest screens I have seen in a bar. We were there because our daughter recommended going to it for consideration once football season starts. I'm guessing it's the place to go in Buford for any kind of local sports. I'm also thinking this is a go to bar for the later night crowd. Plenty of bar area, ample servers, good beer selection. Food is just ok. It is what you might expect at a sports bar whose forte is probably more in serving drinks than food. If you want lively and noisy, go here. Take the kids too.

We decided to celebrate my birthday and son-in-laws birthday here. We arrived at 5:30 and had very little wait time for a table, there were 6 in our party. Our waitress was very attentive and explained the specials and menu to us. We placed our drink orders and received them in a timely manner. I tried the mango tea and it was wonderful. Husband enjoyed the fresh squeezed lemonade and we all loved the pickles we had before ordering our meal. We had a variety of meals, pot roast, burgers, turkey and dressing and fries. The burgers came with fries or onion rings, and the pot roast and turkey came with mashed potatoes w/gravy and carrots. The carrots were to die for. Cooked to perfection and tender. To finish up our meal we ordered several desserts and the two birthday celebrants got a bowl of ice cream with a huge cookie with a candle on top. The service was great as well as the delicious food. When we left, there was people waiting for tables and parking lot was full. Don't know if they accept reservations, but that would be a suggestion if you are dining after 5:00 or with a large group. Thanks to this establishment for making this a good birthday celebration for our family.Thank you for the great review! We pride ourselves on serving made-from-scratch food paired with genuine hospitality. We are so pleased to hear that we delivered. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
