You'll Love Our Food, And What It Accomplishes. At Edgar's Grille, we offer New American cuisine with a Southern flair. We feature locally sourced ingredients and are farm-to-table certified by Augusta Locally Grown. Outdoor dining is available year-round
Seventeen of us visited Edgar's on a Wednesday evening around 6pm. The place was close to empty. We found the place to be very attractive and the servers welcoming. We were immediately informed it was half price night on wine by the glass. That's great news. The menu offered a nice selection of starters but only six entrees. If you view the menu online you will see quite a variety of entrees. Our table choices covered the offerings so I had a chance to look at all entrees. First, the portions are large. The diner across from me ordered the 14 oz. New York strip steak and it was huge and perfectly cooked to his request. His spouse had chicken and again, a large portion and juicy. I had the seafood grits. It came is a large bowl and was loaded with a variety of shell fish. Excellent. Another diner had the sea scallops and they were very large and perfectly cooked. Also the appetizer portions are large enough to split. I would have given Edgar's a five if there were more entree options.
Good burgers, fries, onion rings, and fountain drinks. Tables and booths. Low prices. Convenient parking.
Stopped in because it's new to our area. Food is great, wings are outstanding. The parking lot was full, but there was plenty of room inside. Watched part of the ballgame while eating as well. Nice open dinning area. Can't go wrong here.
This is a "new" restaurant in the sense that it closed its doors for a while for renovation and new owner. Wonderful friendly staff, lots of tables, and clean bathrooms. Very good chicken, cooked to perfection and served piping hot. Lots of tables with customers while we were there at 5:45 PM on a Saturday, and a nonstop line of cars in the drive-up window.

Upper end of the fast food burgers, I normally go to Hardee's when I have a coupon. They are always polite and the restaurant is clean. The receipt usually offers a small reward for completing a survey. We normally purchase a thick burger--remember not to take it out of it's wrapper to eat it--it will slide all over. High chairs are available and tv is on the wall.
Stopped here for a quick lunch while touring the Golden Isles with 50 other seniors. Vannessa was the host on this Sunday afternoon and did a great job taking my order. I had the brisket combo which included the brisket sandwich, fries and regular drink for $9.98. 10% Sunday discount came out to $8.98 without a tip. This was the best brisket I have ever had. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.
