Buffalo's

This place is always a hit or miss usually the food is good, it's the service that is regularly questionable. Went in on a Friday night and apparently this location has a closed off bar that allows smoking that you sometimes can smell on a busy night. It has either live music or just very loud music playing at times. During lunch times it seems ok.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Tried it based on the name. We are "Wing Conniseurs" and this place is really geared to get you in, drinking and do the sports bar scene. The wings were sub-par. I enjoyed the different flavor - but way overpriced and to "wild" and not for the wings. Sorry, not for a family occasion in our book.

Chili's Grill & Bar

Reviewed By billyd4real

Went in today to have dinner. We had the $22 for 2 menu items; Wife had the mango-chile chicken, which was dry and had way too much corn on it. Comes with side of broccoli and rice. I had the bacon ranch steak quesadilla, very plain, burnt, and very greasy. We both could only eat a little of our meals, so we won't order those again. Our server was Brandon, very pleasant gentleman, very efficient and helpful.Older review: We went here this past week and haven't gone to this Chili's in Hiram over several years, and though I never thought very much of their menu it certainly has gotten better since last were last there a couple years ago. The service was good, if slow , and the food was also very good this time. I guess I'd rather have a little slower service if the food was good, so that was the case this visit.I ordered the mango grilled tilapia plate, which was very flavorful and delicious. It came with a side orders of choice, I got the mashed potatoes, which were also delicious. My wife had the filet mignon which she enjoyed, and I tried it also, very succulent and cooked perfect (to medium rare, her choice). Our kids ate off the children's menu, which gives you a very good selection and pretty large portions for a child's menu. My daughter tried the strawberry lemonade, which we had never tried; very tasty and a great thirst quencher on a hot day. All in all a good experience. We had stopped going there for a few years but they have gotten better since then. Will recommend again and will definitely return.Update: Returned today, they have A new menu. I ordered the 6oz sirloin and asked for it to be cooked medium, it was cooked well, and though it tasted good it was not cooked the way I wanted it. For a side I got the loaded mashed potatoes, they were really good. Unfortunately they don't serve any rolls or bread of any kind before or during your meal, which is kind of cheap. My wife had the half order of ribs and asparagus, hers was pretty tasty, the ribs were lathered in a BBQ sauce which tasted ok but was difficult to wipe off your fingers. They should provide some wet wipes to clean your hands. Service was slow but server was polite. Meal costed about $30, I only had a tea and wife had water, so a little pricey, but overall a satisfying meal.

O'Charley's

Our menu is filled with classic American dishes like steak, salmon, burgers, sandwiches and salads, as well as other traditional favorites like slow-roasted prime rib and our famous chicken tenders, all at a great value.

O'Charley's braces it's Southern roots with a varied menu of American and Southern foods. We visited on a weeknight and ordered the Low Country Shrimp and a Wood Plank Salmon. The shrimp were prepared in a red tomato sauce featuring andouille sausage and accompanied by rice. The Cedar Plank Salmon was broiled to a flaky and moist perfection. Our server (Patrick -- ask for him!!) was friendly, helpful and efficient. Overall we had an excellent dinner at a great value.

I was initially conflicted about posting this but felt I would be doing the owner a disservice if I didnt do so. For starters, the smoked pulled pork and the smoked chicken was very very very dry and cold. The chicken tasted like it sat all day, possibly days and was extremely hard to chew. They brought my me a fresh plate of pulled pork that didn't taste much better. Hard to describe but the meat sort of dissolved in your mouth as you chewed it. The chicken strips and fries for my kids appeared to be fresh and just cooked. We asked the waitress about drink specials offered. She told us she would find out and be right back but didn't arrive back until the food came. The rum runner my I ordered had FRUIT FLIES in it! We counted a total of 3. The manager came over to apologize and offered to remove the drink which was obvious and offered to make another drink. Needless to say we politely passed. I won't even bother to talk about the smoke sausage my husband ordered. We have lived in Dallas/Ackworth area for 3 years and this is by far the worst eating experience we have ever had. You would think the manager would go above and beyond with discounting our food due to bugs being in our drink. We've dined at Salt and Pepper, Los Magueys, Rodney's, etc. I will do as much as possible to support local businesses. However this eating experience was unacceptable and we will never be back.

The restaurant is a typical burger and wings place with an average price for the masses. The bar is very small and doesn't seem like it would be a fun place to hang out. Our food was good but was not something we would want to try again. Sorry... not my favorite.
