To me the name implies that they know what they are doing with wings. WRONG. I ordered mild wings. After an appropriate wait my meal was served. The wings were cooked properly but anything good stops there. I cannot describe the sauce except to say that is was spicy, sweet and gooey. There was enough sauce did prepare two or three more orders of wings.Probably my last visit.

KFC is pretty standard across the country. There's no buffet here, but, no problem. I'll just have some chicken, please! Every time I've been here something has been wrong. Either they didn't have any chicken ready, or my order was wrong. And, I always have to wait for them to cook something. One time I went, it was around 8:30, they said it was so late, they were not cooking any more chicken! Hmmmm.... explain that! Today, I had to wait 6 minutes on biscuits. You would think they would keep plenty of biscuits cooked, since everyone gets at least one biscuit with their meal, and it was Sunday, after church! Anyway, every time I go I swear I'll never go back. Unfortunately, they are the only place in town that has fried chicken on Sunday. I gave them two dots since the food is usually pretty good, if you ever get it.

Simply ordered sandwich with a different type of bun. Order was not with the substitution I requested. Manager (Karl) seemed to get irritated with me instead of the employee. When I got my sandwich with the correct bun it was not the BIG Hot Ham & Cheese that I had paid for. It was small. The manager told my husband that's what we get when ordering the sesame seed bun. Also my husbands order was of VERY poor quality. Double cheeseburger - no cheese, nothing but a small dab of ketchup and a slice of pickle. spicy chicken sandwich only had lettuce, no mayo. His fries were not even in a package they were dropped into the box on top of the sandwiches. POOR MANAGEMENT= POOR QUALITY & POOR SERVICE!!!

Grits A Southern Event

Drove 30 miles to try it. Looked sketchy; gravel parking lot; old run down building. Inside wasn't much more impressive. Greeted by young lady with big smile, friendly "ya'll grab a seat anywhere."Then looked at buffet offerings. Old, southern style greens, rutabagas, field peas, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, corn bread, and lots of other things but that was enough for me, along with........SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN!!! Oh yes, there was a very good salad bar, but who drives 30 miles, passes up good home cooking for a salad? There were desserts, but I was so full I never even tried them.Everything was like my grandmother use to fix! Delicious! 2 buffets, two ice teas for $20.00 even. With the tip and cost of gas fo 60 mile round trip I felt I MORE than got my money's worth! In fact, planning on going back next week....MORE CHICKEN!!

Cairo City Grill

Cairo City Grill is well worth visiting. We dined on a Friday evening and were entertained by an acoustic guitar performer. The music was subdued and perfect for dining and conversation. Re decor has an outdoor European vibe with brick and ceiling drapery. There is an excellent selection available from the buffet, but we selected from the menu. The Eggplant Parmesan and Chicken Marsala came as very generous portions. They were very tasty and prepared to perfection. There is a selection of wine and beer available which always adds to a great meal. The chocolate layer cake with dark chocolate icing topped off the meal. The restaurant is open seven days a week and every evening except Sunday. There is a Sunday brunch.Cairo City Grill is well worth a visit!
