We were in Augusta for the night and looking for something different. This was it! It was an insane amount of different varieties of very fresh sushi and sashimi! I don't eat them but oysters on the half shell and oyster shooters. It was amazing! Crab legs too! That's my only reason it wasn't a rating of 5. There was plenty of crab legs but they were served cold and over ice (I'm sure for safety purposes) but I am use to them being warm and with lemon butter. But the hibatchi was fantastic the other Chinese and Japanese food was delicious too but the amount of fresh sushi and sashimi is definitely the star! Unlimited too so I got to try some I never would at a sushi bar for fear of spending a lot on something I didn't like. The godzilla... have to try it. Really delicious.

We have been to Tako Sushi a few times since moving to Evans and each time doesn't disappoint. The unique menu leaves so many choices and combinations you could visit more than 100 times before you repeat an order. The tempura battered asparagus appetizer is a must have! Our family has tried the Bento box, the chicken Asian stir-fry, the Tako burger, the tamales and so many more - all cooked to perfection. The price point is good for the amount of food that you get. The service is always spot-on with kind servers who are able to answer questions and provide recommendations - always with a smile. The location in Evans and Aiken are small so get there early if you don't want to wait. We will definitely be going back!

I have dined here several times, but this is my first review.Tonight I had spicy shrimp sushi and soup...it was delicious. Grand-girls had chicken with rice and veggies and Grandpa had shrimp. From the oldest of us to the youngest we all enjoyed our food.Yam was a delightful server!

Our family decided to go out for sushi and tried this place. My wife, son, and daughter say the sushi was some of the best they have had. I had something cooked (steak & shrimp hibachi), thank you, and thought it was also very good. Service was excellent. Food was very plentiful. I tend to think of food being prepared at a large table side grill when I think of Japanese "steakhouse" but this was a more standard restaurant set up. You can sit at the bar and watch the sushi being prepared. We will definitely return.
Stopped in on the recommendation of an office worker following an appointment in the area. It was my first visit. I found the restaurant easy to find with good parking. It is clean and attractive with ample seating. The service was adequate. I selected Habachi chicken and steak with steamed rice and grilled vegetables. The portions were large and ideal for two meals. So that justifies the relatively high lunch prices. The food was a bit salty but since this was my first visit, That may not have been the usual pattern. Overall, a decent experience.
