Make a reasonably priced mid week meal. Prime meat burger is a grapefruit sized patty made by hand and cooked to order. Salad is cold crisp and includes a variety of veggies like carrots and radishes instead of just lettuce. The house salad had iceberg lettuce, none of that side of the road ragweed. Dressings are house made and the bacon is a unique local favorite. Service is always pleasant and agreeable. Keep up the good work.

We went here for my husband's birthday. He ate a rib eye steak and said it was very good, I had the ribs which are always very good. Our waitress was very good and took very good care of us.

Visiting in Gainesville for a few days and went to longhorns for so comfort food .you might say how is longhorns comfort food but steak is comfort food. Ordered the prime rib for myself and wife everything came out fast and hot then it went downhill from there. The aujue was hot but so salty that my wife who uses salt normally said it was salty. In all our years of eating at Longhorns this was the first time it was extremely salty . We told our waitress and she took it back and tryed to correct the problem but the kitchens respond was to water it down which then ruined the aujue . Manager came over and asked if everyting was ok we told about the problem and her response was to tell us she has no control over the aujue . My wife could not enjoy her dinner the manager never offered to replace the prime rib or discount the meal . If we return to visit in the near future WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING. The amount of salt could cause blood pressure problems in some people.

Chip waited on our party. It took some time to get recognized. We almost walked out. Over 10 minutes to place a drink order. It was an equally long wait for soup and salad to arrive. Normally that wait would derailed any chance of a 5 star review from me. Mrs bbq says I can be an ass. But the French onion soup was delicious. If I had one complaint it would be that there was too much cheese. It was hit, loaded with onions in a rich beef au ju reduction. The salad was fresh crisp well presented and cold. Just perfect. Not as long our entrees arrived. The 22 oz. bone in ribeye was perfectly cooked medium, tender and well seasoned. Mrs bbq had seafood. A combo of crab cake, skewered shrimp and lobster tail. She said the shrimp were better than the lobster which looked Devine to me. Chip while busy with many tables in his section saw to our every need. I donât know when I have enjoyed a better steak. We cannot wait to return.
