Lunch was great in this small place. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Owner was working and it showed. He was a great guy.Hotdogs are simple, boiled dogs with old fashioned toppings. Dogs were hot but not boiled to death.Chili cheese dogs were good with a fresh, mild chili. Kraut dogs were good and wife ordered a second one. Stop in and have a good, fun meal. Can't stop, use the walk-up order windows.

The most friendly customer service and very polite. The food is price fairly and delicious. I had the Philly cheese steak and by far it is the best I ever had. The menu is awesome. It have jerk Chicken, deep fried Snickers, pig on the bun, chicken wings, Nacho with meat, Italian beef sandwiches, deep fried Polish sausage etc. Even cheese burgers. Many items cost under five dollars. What I like most is that you get free fries with every sandwich. I have eaten there many time and tasted many items and everything so far has been delicious. This is my fav spot to eat at.

We were visiting in La Grange and stopped in at Firehouse for lunch. They have a large number of sandwiches to choose from. I decided on a Club. I started to order the small but decided on the medium. I got what I would call two nice size sandwiches. I probably should have ordered the small but I did enjoy it.William, thanks so much for trying us out. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our subs. purchase a value meal and was somewhat disappointed that my fries were cold . . . burger was good as always . . . ordered unsweet tea and was given sweet tea and didn't find out until I reached my hotel. :-(
