Richards Restaurant is locally owned and operated. We serve Southern cooked food, fresh hamburgers, and the best Peach cobbler around. All made fresh everyday. Richards Restaurant is the best kept secret in Ringgold GA.

It isnât Mayberry. It isnât a destination either. But if you find yourself near downtown Ringgold Georgia itâs a decent place to have breakfast. Richardâs sports linoleum booths and tables for locals and visitors to relax with tasty and inexpensive food. The servers probably grew up within 5 miles of the restaurant and they treat you like family. Iâm talking the functional friendly side of the family. Itâs a good start before seeing the hour or so of attractions in Ringgold but not worth the trip on its own. Decent food at decent prices.

This Waffle House is better than most. The staff prides themselves and their job. The only thing I would like to see is for the staff to stop sitting out front and smoking right in the doorways. Other than staff etiquette it's ok for what it is.

I have been eating at Waffle House for almost 50 years and have visited them in every state where I've traveled that had WH. Now, Waffle Houses are pretty much the same everywhere, the same food prepared the same way, and is pretty reliable with a few exceptions. The exception here was the excellence of the service and food at a busy time. We stopped in on the way to an event further north and were somewhat pressed for time. There was only one table available - it was busy - but we had hardly sat down before a waitress approached us and took our drink orders. She turned out not to be our assigned waitress but someone just taking some initiative. Our waitress returned with our drinks and took our order efficiently and expeditiously, pointing out some options for us. The food came out right away, and despite being busy, it was perfectly prepared. Despite how busy the restaurant was, it was clean, service was quick and excellent, and the food was as good as it gets. We will certainly be stopping in here again.

This location was destroyed by the April, 2011 tornado and re-opned September 12, 2011. We had dinner here on September 13, 2011 and found the new building very nice and clean but the food was below average. Our server was nice, friendly and did a good job but the cooks couldn't get orders corredt. Manaement had the restaurant understaffed for the second day back open. I think it will be a while before we try this Waffle House again.
