Our passion and our motto here at Sea Shells Seafood is to provide fresh, affordable seafood to each and every customer that we have the pleasure of serving. We strive to ensure each and every customer feel 100% welcome and comfortable in our laid back di
Shells does a really great low country boil. Every time Iâve been and ordered it with shrimp and crab legs it is consistently good. Iâve tried other things there and been less impressed. The lobster dip itself is great, but when paired with cheap, heavy chips, it loses something. The mussels were not impressive either and the steak was over cooked. Shells is my âgo toâ for crab legs and shrimp in a low country boil. The service is good though a bit chaotic when trying to get a table. They stay busy even at non peak times.

Went here for dinner on a weeknight. The restaurant was really clean, great lighting, large dining area, a huge chandelier upon entering, a bar and several mounted flatscreen tv's. We were greeted and seated immediately. Service was fast and courteous. For an appetizer we got the spinach artichoke dip with chips. The dip was okay, the chips looked like they were sprinkled with seasoning salt. The table is served with rolls and butter which were really good. The food presentation is great. Hubby got lobster and waffles, kiddies got grilled cheese and fries and I got the hamburger steak with gravy and mashed potatoes. It was topped with fried onion - but it was really chewy instead of crunchy. The mashed potatoes were good, the hamburger meat was meh. Hubby enjoyed his meal. For dessert we got thr coca cola cake - huge skice of cake with a very small dollop of vanilla ice cream and whip cream. I tasted the coca cola in icing but the cake itself was dry, we didn't eat much of it. Overall it was a decent meal, nothing great.
I was pleased. The atmosphere is not much, but the service and food make up for it. The place was packed and that's a good sign. The young lady taking orders up front was a delight - friendly and efficient. The food is freshly prepared and a good deal for the money. I had the 2-pc fish combo with fried green tomatoes and mac 'n cheese, and your choice of drink is included in the price. And I should mention that they load up your plate! I will definitely go back and try the onion rings next time.
